Perfect memory

January 30, 2026 | 24 comments

If you have memory issues, it’s an opportunity to know the truth about divine Mind.

Divine Mind, the one Mind, the only Mind, has a perfect memory.

As a child of God, you reflect the Mind of God, which means, you have a perfect memory.

A mortal does not reflect the Mind of God.  A mortal is a belief of limited being, finite being, a beginning and an end.  Any type of memory associated with mortality is going to have a beginning and an end.  So, be sure to stay out of the dream of mortality!

As a child of God, you are immortal.  You possess immortal memory.

Mind never forgets.  Mind remembers everything that it is supposed to remember.  It knows its own ideas and keeps careful track of them.

Mind never “spaces out,” for there are no empty spaces in Mind.  Just the fullness of Truth.

Mind has instant recall and clear recollection.

Mind does not age or lose vitality over time.

Mind is eternal, ever perfect, ever strong, ever in control, ever thinking and knowing whatever needs to be known.

Mind doesn’t forget.  Mind remembers.

Divine Mind is your Mind!

Mary Baker Eddy writes, “If delusion says, ‘I have lost my memory,’ contradict it.  No faculty of Mind is lost.  In Science, all being is eternal, spiritual, perfect, harmonious in every action” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 407).

Live in Science, not in sense, and claim your eternal birthright—a healthy, strong, clear memory—Mind’s memory!  It’s working at full capacity, now and forever.

    1. Harmony,
I just loved this Sentinel Watch and have listened several times. So glad you shared it with friends of Spirit View.
I also listened to her four omnis which I found so helpful! Especially this thought:

“This is a thought “coming” to me, not a thing “happening” to me!”

So nothing, “no thing” can happen to take away clarity. God is Mind, and we, as the perfect image and likeness of God, can only reflect His perfect qualities!

Thank you, Evan for all of these beautiful reminders of the Allness of God! Thank you all who share inspiration! I start each day here to fill my thoughts with good to carry through the day!

    2. Thanks for sharing Harmony. Here’s the link from JSH Online https://sentinel.christianscience.com/shared/view/1eij571m5gm?s=copylink

I also loved listening to this Sentinel Watch all week as I drove to/from work and agree, Ali, that sentence is so powerful! “ this is a thought, “coming” to me, not a thing “happening” to me.”

And thank you, Evan for this wonderful clear reminder of the eternal, unchanging and complete Mind that we reflect! Great SpiritView and love to all!

  1. Thank you, dear Evan! A perfect treatment. Very inspired and useful. We cannot lose our memory about who we are as children of God!

    1. Yes Cris, good point. As long as we remember who we are as God’s, divine Mind’s, precise reflection, then everything good flows from that basic truth of our identity. Including perfect memory. God can’t forget and neither can we. All we need to remember will be clear, sharp and available when needed

As Evan said, “Mind remembers what it is supposed to remember.” There is much erroneous old thinking and beliefs that we don’t need or want to remember. We’re happy to forget those lies.

  2. I came across a powerful statement by Barbara Cook Spencer: “Jesus’ instantaneous healings deliver the remarkable message that spirituality isn’t the power to change or fix anything, but is actually the UNMESMERIZED thinking or spiritual sense that simply sees everything as it really is – as divine Love causes it and knows it to be. And this undeluded consciousness of perfection heals.”

Sorry, a quick perusal isn’t bringing up the article it came from, and need to get to my work commute. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend. 🙂

  3. I periodically receive a message from my computer telling me “Your memory is full”. Well, yes. It is!
    Thanks for the daily inspiration!

  4. I’m loving these daily inspirations and all the comments that follow. Such a great way to start the day! Thank you Evan and everyone!!

  5. So grateful for the ideas shared in SpiritView and the related comments by readers. I especially am grateful today for the quote and then the reference link to Barbara Cook Spencer‘s article. Thank you, Evan, and thank you, fellow readers of. SpiritView who share wonderful insights, quotes, and related articles. What a joy! And what a blessing!

  6. Thank you Evan, so perfect for me to hear this today. We are visiting with our daughter in California this week. Just yesterday we were reminiscing about old times from her childhood and teen years and I noticed and mentioned that I was drawing a blank on some dates, names, facts, scenarios from back then. I’ve always considered myself as having a very good memory, but gradually I’ve been noticing that seeming to change.
Great to hear that I can authoritatively reject that flat out as an errorful belief and nothing more. We don’t have personal, separate, unreliable minds — we have the never changing, ever-present One Mind of God.

  7. Another good one for us all today.
    Posting for a family member.
Grandpa lost his hearing aid and I listened to God and I heard the thought “know that it is true that Grandpa can also hear God”. and the next day Grandpa had an idea to look somewhere he had kinda looked already and he followed the idea and found his hearing aid right there. ♥️♥️♥️

  8. The Sentinel Watch interview with Beth Packer is so completely enlightening and profound. More than anything else I’ve read or heard. Thank you for giving us this link today. Thank you Evan for your contributions to our spiritual growth.

    1. I agree, this is such an inspiring episode. I’d almost call it game changer. Beth imparts what she understands with such great clarity.
Wonderful post and comments today, as always.

  9. Love this message today reminding us of the difference between seeing ourselves as mortal vs immortal. Staying in the truth of my immortality is where I want to be! Thank you Evan and everyone else for your wonderful comments.

  10. Thank you Evan…what truly helpful words here today.
Surely, memory cannot be contained in a personal limited mind…under a scull with mortal boundaries. This is all part of the mortal illusion that we are ‘’cause. ‘ and effect.
God/ good is the only cause and as His reflection His omniscient unstoppable Mind is ours to express. So when this is spiritually and trustfully understood….nothing can deny us clarity ❣️

  11. Thank you very much for this healing and comforting weekend SpiritView message of absolute Truth, dear Evan! It is so special for me!
Already last Friday morning, when I studied this wonderful SV message , I was very happy and thankful for this absolute divine truth, which I and every child of God do express perfectly.. There is such assurance in it, thanks a lot, Evan!!
Great the Truth you gave us: “Divine Mind is your (my) Mind” and “…Mind’s memory – it’s working at full capacity, now and forever” – and we, God’s children , Love’s Image and likeness express that Truth forever.
“Glory be to God on high …” that is a CS hymn. Does anybody know which hymn this is?

Thank you all dearly for your inspired comments!
And I very much enjoyed the uplifting Podcast with Beth Packer about “no aging” and the article by Barbara Cook given us from KATE. Thanks all so much! ❤️
