With the many fears circulating in public consciousness about catching disease if exposed to the coronavirus, it is wise to know ahead of time why you are not going to catch a disease no matter where you are or who you come into contact with.
Mary Baker Eddy wrote, “When the condition is present which you say induces disease, whether it be air, exercise, heredity, contagion, or accident, then perform your office as porter and shut out these unhealthy thoughts and fears. Exclude from mortal mind the offending errors; then the body cannot suffer from them” (Science and Health, p. 392).
Disease is not passed from one person to another through physical contact, but through mental acceptance. It’s not physical germs that pose any threat, but fear of them. Remove the fear, and the physical germ is harmless.
So, leave your home with a fearless thought! Stay clear that you circulate in the allness of God wherever you go. That there is only God’s presence to know, feel, to be exposed to, and radiate out again to everyone you encounter.
You are not a mortal soaking in mortal mind impressions. You are an immortal that radiates and reflects the healthy presence of God.
When circulating in public crowds, spiritual consciousness is a protection from contagion. It renders germs harmless, dissolves fear, creates impregnable immunity, keeps you healthy and protects you from disease.
If it can’t get into your thought, it can’t get into your experience.
Stay protected by keeping your thought filled with truth and love. It’s the wise thing to do.

Thank you for this reminder of everyone’s protection, from contagion and whatever else mortal mind tries to throw at us. Before I leave my home, I remember that my reason for existing is to impart divine Truth, spiritual health, happiness and love, and this is my rock of salvation. Anyone I come in contact with can and is imparting this same truth, so we are all protected!
This is the quotation by Mary Baker Eddy, that I paraphrased above:
18 Thus may each member of this church
rise above the oft-repeated inquiry, What am I? to the
scientific response: I am able to impart truth, health, and
21 happiness, and this is my rock of salvation and my reason
for existing.
(The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 165:18)
Yes, Evan, I also thank you for the reminder to keep our thinking spiritual Today I had to do several arrands outside, driving around with my car. And I tried to keep my thinking spiritward and to do everything in Spirit, as actually we live and move and have our being in Spirit.
Oh by the way, I didn’t get this SpiritView in my inbox, rather I clicked on “newer”. Am very grateful for these healing truths, dear Evan!
Angie, thanks for the link to that article, and thanks Verlee, for the wonderful passage from “First Church of Christ Scientist and Miscellanious” by our loved Mary Baker Eddy. Xx

Sorry I could not attach the article.
It talks about seeing “the face of God” in others.
“As we seek God’s face everywhere, we are
making our loving contribution to the healing
of the world’s great troubles, beginning in our own immediate surroundings.”
So good-
Thanks for sharing this article! Thank you, Evan for this daily post. Today’s post was so helpful.

M,
Thank you for mentioning this article and Angie thank you for posting the link! 🙂
I especially loved;
“Without this effort to spiritualize our thought, the material world, as it appears to us in our daily experience, may seem dark indeed. We learn to penetrate this darkness by seeing the face of God in place of the apparent trouble or confusion. This is not always easy, but we can at least make a start. Science and Health gives us clear guidance on how to proceed. It says, “The substance, Life, intelligence, Truth, and Love, which constitute Deity, are reflected by His creation; and when we subordinate the false testimony of the corporeal senses to the facts of Science, we shall see this true likeness and reflection everywhere.” S&H pg. 516:4-8

I hope people find it it is very needed.
Thank you M and Angie for that article. Just read it. It is wonderful an helpful ! ♡
Very timely message as we move more freely as the
Restrictions allow.
Thanks again to all and especially Evan who manages to meet our needed thought to be uplifted.
Wonderful message for us as we go about our day in our communities (where allowed ) , thank you Evan!
Outstanding thoughts that are very timely and helpful.
Thanks Evan and others.
Thank you Evan, this is so good and I have read it twice and will do again and again. I love the idea of us circulating in spiritual consciousness.
As famous CS practitioner said, whose name escapes me, when you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it, and hangon. Being a porter of your thoughts and focusing on truth is hanging on.
thank you all of you. You help focus my thought as my day begins.
Ha! That’s a good one Nadine. Thanks for sharing it.
Evan,
Just what I needed! Thank you! 🙂
I love this;
“If it can’t get into your thought, it can’t get into your experience.
Stay protected by keeping your thought filled with truth and love.”
One with God is a majority. Thanks to all for your reassurance this morning. Soon this topic will be as a bad dream. With the powerful, prayerful thoughts, as found here on Spirit View, the darkness is consumed by powerful light. .
Each day giving loving truths to all who come into my presence, over the phone, and wherever I walk. I John 4:13, II Timothy 1:7, Psalms 23 & 91, Matthew 5 The Sermon on the Mount.
They all listen and some write down the citations. No one has rebuked this offering. Sometimes I suggest that they go to Christianscience.com Loving our neighbor as ourselves gives the same reassurance to others which we so love.. The Shepard guiding….
Thank You, Evan. And the administrator of this site. I can only imagine the challenge of keeping
this truth on line.
FANTASTIC!! I have always found that the fear of an offending mortal condition lasts longer than the disease itself.
I have no fear because God is here right now and ALWAYS! Thanks so much Evan and all who have shared their inspirations. This is just what I needed.
Thanks Angie. Here is just one of the ideas I gained:
This spiritual reality of God’s creation, which appears to us as we learn to look beyond “the outward sense of things,” is not something to be brought about but is a present fact to be awakened to.
Angie, here is another and the last I’ll mention. It’s a quote from S&H that is a favorite of mine;
“The substance, Life, intelligence, Truth, and Love, which constitute Deity, are reflected by His creation; and when we subordinate the false testimony of the corporeal senses to the facts of Science, we shall see this true likeness and reflection everywhere.”
The other article on fear Angie gave us reminded me of a poem I’ve prayed often:
I pray the sweet words “peace be still” to calm the storms of human will.. I know the stillnees deep within that conquers evil, sickness, sin. I pray for that mind to be in me that knows no raging of the sea. I feel God’s presence with me here. His quietness dispels all fear. This is from memory.
Two quotes come to mind….”There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear”…..and “Pray without ceasing”….
We have so much to be grateful for in our lives and we need to remember that each day!
Special thanks to Lori for reciting her prayer,
Diane for reminding us all to be grateful,
And always to Evan, who blesses us each & every day!
Thank you Evan and all of you for your loving words of healing. Like all of you I’m so grateful for our Leader and her tenacity to forge ahead and give us our textbook Science & Health. Her statement that many of us have on our church walls is so beautiful and powerful “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.” SH p494-10.
Thank you Mrs.Eddy for giving us a pastor that we can always rely on for the truth.
