Retirement Opportunity

Working people who lead very busy, active and productive lives often voice concern about retiring. They fear not having anything to do. But this worry can be dissolved with a greater appreciation of what constitutes the most important accomplishment in life.
It’s not what we do humanly that matters most in the long run. It’s not what we accumulate materially that matters most in the future. It’s what we accomplish spiritually.
Spiritual growth and increased understanding of God is what bodes us best in the long haul, gets us to the best place and ensures enduring happiness and health.
So, retirement may be a time when an individual slows down materially, but it’s also a time when he or she can speed up spiritually. And that’s an activity worth indulging big time.
