Saving the life of a humpback

Since I was in Alaska recently and saw several dozen humpback whales while on tour, the below video has special meaning.
A reader of my blog sent me this link, noting my trip to Alaska. Thank you!
A small boat of caring individuals exploring the Sea of Cortez near Baja California came across a whale so deeply entangled in fisherman’s net, that it was about to die. This video tells the story of what these individuals did to save the whale, and the incredible joy the whale displayed afterward.
It is quite moving…

I so enjoyed seeing these beautiful words in action
    in this moving video!!

Thank you, Evan! I was happy sharing this with a number of my good friends.

  2. This video has been in my treasury of “Special Things to Remember” for awhile now. It is on my cell phone to share with others because of the extreme emotion and gratitude that it always evokes Thank you Evan for bringing it to the forefront again. My favorite part is the little child’s response at the end. Everyone needs to watch this and share, share, share.
