More pictures from our trip up the Tracy Arm…
The ship’s path was a slow deliberate journey by a captain on the constant alert to keep his ship safe from icebergs and other underwater dangers.

Looks are deceptive! The ship could get only so close, still a mile or two away. The front bottom edge of the glacier, the immediate straight-up edge above the water, is about 200 feet tall. To the top of the glacier is around 900 feet.
