Seek God’s way

September 9, 2025 | 18 comments

Frustration is a sign I am acting independently.  The more you try your own way, the tighter the doors will stay closed.

~ Joyce Meyer

Conquer frustration by yielding to God’s plan.  God knows how to do it best.

Be humble, listen, hear, and the ideas you need to succeed will come your way.  Divine Mind is feeding them to you now.

  1. Being humble enough to listen to the spiritual evidence for guidance gives us the ability to follow the true direction for our lives. It not only connects all the dots, that we coulld never have connected alone but does so in a way that is harmonious, joyful, in peace.

  2. Thank you Evan. Great timing for me …
    Luke 11:9-10
9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Such a beautiful promise for us all. Let go and let God❣️

    1. Thank you J, Fir the article .
“Seeking God during difficult times does more than comfort or encourage us; it brings healing” ❤️‍

    2. Love the idea from this article:

” God’s love is ample for every situation in which we find ourselves. ”

Ample is such a good word and concept. Thanks for article!

    3. Thank you for this ‘’share’ J.
I notice that it states that Gods Love is ours to SHARE…and not just to enjoy in our immediate personal circumstance.! B.x

  3. Evan, thanks for the wise quote from Joyce Meyer. For those who don’t know she is a Christian preacher and author. I’ve watched her TV show many times (I think it’s called Enjoying Everyday Life). She’s quite funny and sassy and gets right to the heart of things.

I heard a CS lecturer (Chestnut Booth) once say that when she catches herself being willful and frustrated she has to get humble and says this out loud- “God, your way is better.”

  4. Yep, this one smacked me upside the head !

Thank you, Evan, for the connection.

As I read the short and powerful message, I thought of the movie, The Replacements, and a scene in it

Sure enough, YouTube had a clip of the scene. I hope you enjoy it, I feel it ties into today’s message.

For context, movie plot… Pro football player strike, owners choose to hire replacement players with football skills, but never made it to the big league, this is their “second chance”. I liked the entire film, this clip is all ages, there are parts that are not, and some may find offensive, just sayin

  5. The comments remind me of Dicky’s article, “God’s Law of Adjustment” in which he identifes towards the conclusion of the article, “The battle is not yours, but God’s. Set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord”. Frustration is fighting an independent battle rather than yielding to God’s Law, “I am All”. It is fighting “the battle” from material sense, and not spiritual sense or identity. It is dwelling in human consciousness rather than our true dwelling place: The Consciousness of Love”. Frustration is human planning and outlining. Turning to God with the knowledge of right and perfect unfoldment allows one to simply release the frustration of human planning, It is the assurance of “God’s protecting care”.
