  1. IIt may be helpful to some to read what Mrs. Eddy saysMaggie about how to find our spiritual senses:-

The verity of Mind shows conclusively how it is that matter seems to be, but is not. Divine Science, rising above physical theories, excludes matter, resolves things into thoughts, and replaces the objects of material sense with spiritual ideas.
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 123:11)

    1. Thank you Evan, for your much appreciated thoughts to start the day with.
And yes, Maggie, the quote from Mrs. Eddy’s words of wisdom above,
how “matter seems to be, but is not” is being demonstrated right at this
moment, where looking out the window, the mountains Seem to be only
half there, as a thick fog is covering part of them. Material sense would
have one believe that part of the mountains are missing, but in Reality
they are there in full and just as beautiful in spiritual thought as always.
As Evan states above, for the best experience, seek the spiritual perspective.
It IS a much happier and healthier place to be. Material belief would have
one worried and wondering, “Oh No! Where did the rest of the mountains
go??!!” But spiritual Truth gives us the knowledge to Know that they are
there, even if hidden by what matter can not see. As I have been typing,
the sun is now shining and the mountains are in full sight, in all their beauty.

      1. Dear Angel. I don’t know where you live but I love to read your descriptions of it. It sounds beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us.

        1. Thank you Evan for this day and each passing day. Thank you Fir your incredible inspiration you offer to the community and SV.
Also retrospectively from SV , JULY 11, I am grateful from all of you , including: J, Cheryl, Rose, Angel, Tina , to your sweet comments
Concerning the passing of our little dog Pepper.that day. I just realized today
When I decided to go back and reread SpiritView 7/11/25
          Bless to everyone!

      2. I too, love your analogy. Angel – I can picture the beautiful scenery. I remember holidaying in Scotland years ago, and we found a beautiful place in the mountains to spend the night, with Highland cattle in a field before us, and in the morning the whole beautiful scene could not be seen, but we knew it was there, of course, but the mist obscured it all. Our spiritual senses enabled us to know what it was
really like, and I still cherish that view.
How lovely that you have such a beautiful
view to look at every day.

      3. Thank you so much, Linda and Maggie, for your kind words.
Indeed, the beauty of Soul is with us and we can appreciate
all of the good that is around us, if seen through the lens of
spiritual perspective. Maggie – your description of your
Scotland holiday with it’s pastoral scenes sounds wonderful

  2. In the spiritual perspective there is no limit to Truth, life and love. While with the other, there is only limits.

  3. Wonderful ideas everyone, and thank you Evan for reminding us of this perspective. One simple check that I can do for myself is to ask the question: is this immortal, that is, spiritual, or is it mortal/limited, therefore material? Only things immortal and eternal are real and good and spiritual.

    “Life and goodness are immortal.”
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 246:28

“As God Himself is good and is Spirit, goodness and spirituality must be immortal.”
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 277:7–9)

  4. Thank you, everyone for the thoughts you have shared. I was challenged this morning by thoughts of how different the spiritual sense of life is from the material, and do I have the courage to stay the course. Knowing all of you are working to live the best life encourages me to keep up my prayers

  5. I think that the spiritual perspective is the only true perspective. The mortal, material view doesn’t really exist at all for the children of God. It’s so good to be reminded of this again and again on SV. Evan so kindly and creatively finds many different ways to explain this principle to us. The principle of Truth, the law of Good, available for us all. Greetings and love to everyone. ❤️

  6. Thanks a lot, dear Rose for the absolute spirituality of your wonderful comment. I fully tune in to it that the spiritual perspective is the only true perspective and that mortal, material view doesn`t exist at all for the children of God. That is so so comforting and healing!

Yes and dear Evan I’m also very grateful that you remind us to seek spiritual thoughts and the spiritual perspective, both coming from God to us. Am working prayerfully on it.

I greet you also very lovingly and thank you all for your helpful comments! 🙂

  7. Thank you Evan for your fine sharing and thank you J for the excellent articles you shared on July 8,9,11 & 14th. The article by Herbert Rieke from the June 1948 CSJournal was especially helpful. BTW, There are some very good talks by his wife on YouTube.
