  1. Dear Evan, if I look at yesterday`s inspiring conversations, I see, you are always lovingly caring for your readers of SpiritView, specially those who are in need of clear scientific answers – thank you so much for your Love!

  2. This is a wonderful way to express the love we realize is our Divine inheritance and True nature of our being, caring for another….and there is a seemingly endless “supply” of people, animals and all of Gods creation where we can express caring.
My life changed 20 yrs ago when I left hi-tech and began caregiving for Elders in my community.
The richness of their experience, knowledge, kindness and manners have enriched my life to overflowing. We should collectively re-examine our ,relatively new, cultural attitude that Elders should be moved from their homes and segregated from the rest of us, especially our youth, as their wisdom is so sorely needed and the guidance they offer would help so many young people.
Cultures, we in the west consider “primitive”, respect and care for their Elders and consider them their most valuable asset, in fact the older you become the more revered you are by the Tribe.
In some ways you really cannot learn or know how to love and care for yourself until you love and care for others…

  3. Thank you, Evan! I was thinking that probably the most loving, caring thing we can do for others is to Heal them with our understanding of Christian Science. We don’t even need to say anything or do anything, except change our perception and see them as God sees them. This is True Love and what Jesus came to teach us how to do.

  4. “And Love is reflected in love.”

(From the spiritual interpretation of The Lord’s
Prayer in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, page 17)

  5. Thank you Evan! Showing that we care for others gives Love on both sides. God has truly given you and all those who look to SpiritView and comment or reply a perfect radiance!

  6. I, too, love and look forward daily to reading Spiritview. Thank you, Evan, for your caring love and shepatding His flock. All the contributors add facets to the prism of Truth and I appreciate you all. Maximo, I appreciate and applaud your comments today. Very loving and you understand an urgent need I sometimes sense in church members and older neighbors who live far from family.
    Happy Thanksgivg to all!

  7. Thank you Evan and all who come to this site. There is much love here and I am so grateful for each of you. Blessings to all.

  8. I wish you would do a blog on what to do when a fairly young, reasonably healthy fellow church member, has basically decided just to hole up in her apartment most of the time, and just pretty much die? No nearby family. Resists all attempts by me to convince her to “choose life”. Another longtime friend is in CS nursing home as a patient, and she also resists all attempts by me to persuade her to “choose life”. Ideas?

    1. Persistence and sincerity applied generously will inspire you and them to emerge gently. Listening to divine inspiration helps too. This weighs on my thought right now, as a 17 yr old friend of my son’s is being held in juvenile detention, where I want to reach out to him; GOD IS LIFE; and write him a letter (visits are ONE per week for all visitors). I am applying persistence and sincerity generously.

    2. To Anon,

When a patient seems unresponsive and out of reach, pray to know Christ is in their thought speaking to them and giving them the inspiration, guidance and encouragement they need to rise up and be well. And rest assured, that what you can’t do humanly, God can do spiritually. I’ve seen people in very dark unresponsive places come out of it with this type of prayer.

And thanks for your love and care of these people! It makes a difference.

  9. Dear friend (anonymous) my heart goes out to your fellow church member and your long-time friend in CS nursing home who is a patient there. Only if they knew that they are the beloved of God and God loves and cares for them tenderly, constantly, completely…. Only if they could feel the healing and loving presence of the Christ who envelopes them with joy and happiness…. Only if they would cast their cares on God for He cares for them beyond measure….Only if they knew that Gods plans for them are brilliant and step out of their self made prison with confidence… Only if they make a gratitude list and count so many blessings which they may have overlooked by drowning in self pity, self justification, self love and self will. Only if they knew that God is the Great Healer and His healing, powerful presence can make them bounce back to health, harmony peace and joy……Only if they knew that God is the most tender father-mother, protector, provider, friend of the friendless and its His good pleasure to give them the Kingdom. .. Only if they remove the blind fold of seeming sorrow and pain and open their doors of heart to receive the Christ who is continuously knocking at their door to be welcomed in, with lovely gifts of bliss….Only if I could come to them and give them a big warm hug and let them know how much we all care and love them…
Evan you sure must be having a healing answer to our anonymous commenter’s concern and care for her friends. I loved the picture you put up of two sweet innocent friends whose love and affection is so pure and selfless. Thanks to you for loving all of us so much and caring for each commenter on your blog. God bless.
