Thank you for sharing that video, it is a great reminder to check how I am viewing others, and actually just life in general.
I had an experience recently with a couple of people that was not pleasant. I had felt led to be there, and I prayed at the time and did what I felt was my best, but afterwards I didn’t understand why that had happened, why God had led me there, I hadn’t got anything out of it and was now having to pray the whole thing through. I eventually heard God say “it wasn’t about you”, and I suddenly realized why I was there. It completely changed my viewpoint, and has been such a helpful thing to remind myself of, it’s not always about me. The person being rude, cutting in front of me in the line, whatever, it doesn’t have to be about me, and I can choose to see the truth for them.
Thanks, Evan! It reminds me of what Mrs Eddy says in Misc. Writings…..”Beloved children, the world has need of you…”
Sometimes we just need reminders that other folks are working out their purpose in life too. Thanks.
Great video, suburb way of bringing out that one should think of others more than oneself.
REMINDS ME TO LOVE MY NEIGHBOR!
Thanks Evan. No one knew the needs of others more than the Master, but the secret is knowing what meets the need, and that is the Christ. He didn’t see them as incomplete, but as whole. He saw people coming to him to be recognized for who they really were. Its a great video. Thanks again.
This goes straight to the heart. Thank you.
This video so clearly points out why we should avoid our perceptions (often false) of what is the moral high ground. That viewpoint is often based on limited information, self-interest and doubt of the reality and power of Good. This video is the highlight of my spiritual perspective this year. Thank you for sharing it. I hope it goes round the world.
A wonderful way of showing the many ways we “judge” people and pointing out our own need for a change in thought. “Judge not” and “Love thy Neighbor” all in play in this well done video. Thank you Evan.
I also belong to Optimist International and we have a creed that we refer to frequently:
OPTIMIST CREED
Promise yourself…
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your Optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
This fits into my understanding of what Mrs. Eddy expects us to do for others and ourselves.
Thanks for posting this! Very inspiring….
See only the good in everyone.
This is better to watch and more uplifting. Check out Spiritual Reality Goggles.

Thank you for sharing. It was inspiring to read Judith’s list. There are so many ways we can be of service to others. Everyday we should in some way strive to be supportive to our friends, family and all those in need of our compassion. It can all begin with each of us!
That was a real attitude adjuster!
This reminds me that when trying to see others as the image and likeness of God, not to miss seeing their needs, and how I can help.
Other denominations have wonderful things to offer us.
Thank you, Evan.
Great video which I intend to share with others!
Keep up all your good work as it obviously is bringing comfort and healing.
Truth, Wisdom, Love and Sincerity, to ALL mankind.
