These are few words with a big big lesson!
As everything is our thought / consciousness of it …it’s our job to watch our perception of things and experiences around us. I guess the real challenge is to get rid of the ‘’ me “‘ angle and seek what Gods sees…both in us and others.
‘’The only intelligence or substance of a thought, a seed , or a flower is God, the creator of it.’’

What a blessing to have our CS teaching. Thank you Evan for all your sharing and I look forward every day to reading all the comments and truths you inspire here on SV❣️
Very inspiring, Evan. Thank you. It has taken me many yeas to realize the importance of forgiveness. Hatred, anger and cold indifference to others have no place in spiritual healing, and today’s SpiritView is a fine reminder of that.
If I should have a disagreement with somebody, I cannot live with the feeling of inharmony. It really upsets me, and I have to be quite quick in forgiving myself and others.
This brought to mind what Mrs. Eddy says in Miscellaneous Writing: 1883-1896 pages 223: 25-60
“There is immense wisdom in the old proverb, “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty.” Hannah More said, “If I wished to punish my enemy, I should make him hate somebody.”
To punish ourselves for others’ faults, is superlative folly. The mental arrow shot from another’s bow is practically harmless, unless our own thought barbs it. It is our pride that makes another’s criticism rankle, our self-will that makes another’s deed offensive, our egotism that feels hurt by another’s self-assertion. Well may we feel wounded by our own faults; but we can hardly afford to be miserable for the faults of others.”
Hope it’s okay to copy /paste a translation from our Daily Lift which goes so well with the blessings of forgiveness…”Accept life with humility and patience, making allowances for each other because you love each other. Make it your aim to be at one in the Spirit, and you will inevitably be at peace with one another. You all belong to one body, of which there is one Spirit, just as you all experienced one calling to one hope. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, one Father of us all, who is the one over all, the one working through all and the one living in all.” https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Eph.4.1.Eph.4.6&version=PHILLIPS
Very simple, but yet very profound, Marci and all. When we see ourselves and
everyone as “God’s beloved child”, loving, loved and lovable …. we truly are
blessing ourselves and everyone else…. and are giving –
for giving, like we would a gift of realizing and experiencing each of our
True expressions and likeness to our Creator/Father/Mother Love.
That’s the truth. When someone I know stepped over a clear line, I remember feeling above it all, apart from it, so it really didn’t touch me. In essence there was nothing to forgive and I was free. And, honestly, it was exhilarating. That’s when I knew if I had held onto resentment, I would be the prisoner.
