Is Your Thought Improving?

May 14, 2014 | 7 comments

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”

~ Albert Einstein

People often believe that by doing the same thing over and over again, their life will improve. But this is not always the case.

Thoughts lead to action, and action leads to results.

If the original way of thinking does not change, then the result of that thinking is not going to change either. Things stay the same.

Thought needs to improve.

you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”

    Food for thought….again!

    :<))

  2. I liked what Spirit View Fan said, so very true. I find that sincere and persistent study of C/S did improve my thought and outlook on life tremendously. In fact it’s a new age of thinking based upon the Old and New Testaments. It’s like saying what that song says; “EVERY THING OLD IS NEW AGAIN.”

  3. Tobias, I just have to say, I love your comments on this site and Daily Lift. You are such a thinker! Thank you for sharing your insights. They are always helpful to me. God Bless!

  4. Tobias:

I too, like to hear your views and spend some time thinking through your thoughts and views.
Keep it up as you appear to be an excellent student of CS.

  5. Oh Life that maketh all things new,
    The blooming Earth,
    The thoughts of men…
    (Hymn 220, C. S. Hymnal)
God will change our thinking when we humbly turn to him.

  6. Okay, I have to admit, I do best at work or play when I don’t think much at all. Nada, zip, nothing. I used to consider that a bit weird. After all, that’s why people use heroin, to zombie out. But I learned that no-overt-thinking thing of mine was more akin to a ‘listening’ state. The way you get all quiet inside when someone interesting is talking and you’re listening. And many helpful things end up coming to mind for me when I’m more like quiet inside rather than actually thinking something. And the thing I end up thinking the most is actually, “Thank you God!”
