Barbara thanks for sharing the verse from the CS Sentinel of 1920.
I’m always looking for “ my part” in healing.. in this verse I see that God gives me courage but it is I that must stand up..
I must take the gifts that are God given; unwrap them, put them into play in my life and trust them to sustain me..
I have an active role in God’s unfolding good. God opens the door and I must walk through. God gives the guidance and I must follow..
As the Bible encourages: Bring your gifts into the storehouse and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Gratitude brings blessings. Complaint (worry included) is poverty.
No worries in the Kingdom of Heaven and it’s where we live now.

‘Fear thou not;
for I am with thee:
be not dismayed;
for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee
with the right hand
of my righteousness.
[Isa 41:10, section 3 Bible Lesson]
‘God is my strong salvation;
What foe have I to fear?
In darkness and temptation:
My light, my help, is near:
Though hosts encamp around me
Firm in the fight I stand;
What terror can confounded me,
With God at my right hand?
[Hymn 77]
This loving advice, this short but important admonition from the book of Eccleciastes, wow in what lively and inspiring and loving comments it results – how wonderful. Yes, Gratitude is the remedy which heals! Thank you Evan for your enlightening SpiritView! And I am very grateful for all your gorgeous and helpful comments, dear SpiritView friends!♡♡♡
Remember Dorothy Rieke’s paper “Wonderful things are happening”? She says”Don’t be concerned about anything. Wonderful things are happening” and goes on to explain how and why – “because God is All, and He is expressing Himself, and the results have to be wonderful”.
Another nugget of Truth ! Thank you Evan.
I found this verse yesterday while studying ..
I shall not want,
No matter what the seeming lack,
With God my source of all supply
Nought is held back.
I cannot fear
No matter what the senses say,
God’s presence gives me courage, turns
All foes away!
