The “selfhood” of error takes many forms. It could be a physical body manifesting a disease, a person feeling anxiety, a businessman acting dishonestly, a politician voicing untruths.
When error appears to take on the form of a “self,” we can help conquer the evil by separating the error from the person and treating the error with spiritual truth.
God created His children to be healthy, to be at peace, to act honestly, and to tell truth. Divine law backs up these spiritual realities, and no error of mortal mind can ever change spiritual reality.
It’s inevitable that error gives up its “selfhood” and yields to Truth.
Truth is always at work supporting what is right. And because Truth always has the final say, it’s inevitable that Truth drives “error out of all selfhood” leaving no more “self” for error to claim.

First I knew that it wasn’t mine.
I crawled on the floor for a month or more.
That was in ‘85. I’ve been fine ever since.
God will show you what material means are necessary for recovery.

J’ai eu de nombreuses années de gros problèmes de dos. Et puis j’ai été guidé vers la Science Chrétienne et elle m’a offert la guérison.
Ce qui m’a sortie du rêve, c’est la compréhension que notre véritable structure est Dieu et non un dos. Qu’I, est le roc, l’appui permanent et cela a été pour moi une révélation. Aujourd’hui je suis libre et d’une infini reconnaissance pour tout ce que la Science Chrétienne offre à chacun de nous.
I had severe back problems for many years. And then I was guided to Christian Science and it offered me healing.
What brought me out of the dream was the understanding that our true structure is God and not a back. That I, is the rock, the permanent support and this was a revelation for me. Today I am free and infinitely grateful for all that Christian Science offers to each of us.
