What are you affirming

February 5, 2026 | 26 comments

Truth is affirmative, and confers harmony.

~ Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 418

What are you affirming today?

Are you affirming that you are an immortal child of God, reflecting eternal health and harmony?

Are you affirming that you are richly provided for by the infinite resources of divine Mind?

Are you affirming that you live in the omnipresence of the Comforter which keeps you feeling the comfort and peace of Love?

Are you affirming that God made you healthy and keeps you healthy?

Are you affirming that you are blessed by boundless good coming from God without limit?

Are you affirming love, peace, harmony?

Are you affirming the positive?

Are you affirming your truth with Truth?

Everyone is affirming something everyday about themselves.  For the best results, be sure to affirm what is in your favor to experience.

Affirm Truth! Never error.

  1. Grateful thanks for this Evan..

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5, 6).

When every thought is God lead we close the door to erring matter …reveal only good..experience only harmony…spread love and kindness…..❣️

  2. Confirming the dance steps that of God’s creating. Thank you Evan. This works beautifully with today’s daily lift.

      1. Link works! Thank you so much!! This and this SpiritView is JUST what I needed today!! SpiritView is always “spot on” for what I’m thinking about. My sisters and I have been traveling this week and we decided to look for evidence throughout this one day of all the ways God was right there taking care of us. 1st example came just moments later when we were checking out of our hotel and rolling our heavy suitcases out to the car. Another hotel guest was JUST walking by and offered to lift our heavy suitcases into our trunk. About 5 minutes later my other sister was rolling her suitcase out of the room and a couple of groundskeepers were right there and offered to help her with her bags (example #2). Then the “cherry on top” was as we were driving home, which was about a 3-5 hour drive depending on traffic, my sister’s daughter called to see if we could pick her up at the train station. She was coming from San Diego on the commuter train and we were driving from Palm Desert to Santa Barbara. We had several freeways to meander, there was a little traffic and slow downs but not much. We 3 commented on how easy the drive was going, About halfway home my niece called to say her train was running about an hour late. We weren’t worried about it and she said she could easily Uber if we couldn’t pick her up. About 2 hours later we pulled off the freeway in Santa Barbara near the train station JUST as the railroad crossing red lights were flashing and the gates were going down and the commuter train came barreling through and my niece walked off the train seconds later. The timing could not have been more perfect. The choreography of our day was magnificent ❤️

  3. This is wonderful dear Evan and SO HELPFUL. It reminds me of “God giving all, man having all that God (Love, Life, Truth, Soul, Mind, Spirit, Principle) gives!!” I’m not sure where that quote is (minus my paragraph). Thank you so much, your posts are always thought expanding!

  4. Evan, Thanks for bringing up this topic today, which is beautifully explained.
From Science and Health page 475: 5- 22
    Question. — What is man?
Answer. — Man is not matter; he is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements. The Scriptures inform us that man is made in the image and likeness of God. Matter is not that likeness. The likeness of Spirit cannot be so unlike Spirit. Man is spiritual and perfect; and because he is spiritual and perfect, he must be so understood in Christian Science. Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique. He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas; the generic term for all that reflects God’s image and likeness; the conscious identity of being as found in Science, in which man is the reflection of God, or Mind, and therefore is eternal; that which has no separate mind from God; that which has not a single quality underived from Deity; that which possesses no life, intelligence, nor creative power of his own, but reflects spiritually all that belongs to his Maker.

  5. I am so grateful for this today, Evan. I am facing a difficult to cope with false claim to my health,.

After spending some time praying with the last citation of the Responsive Reading in the Lesson, and the whole of the First Section – Bible and S&H – which is wonderful – I then opened up to SV. I am now adding all of those
affirmations to my prayers , and affirming and claiming each one strongly for myself, and adding to them. I know
we just cannot be separated for even a moment from God and His tender loving care, because we are one with Him as His reflection. Thank you, Evan – this is a good treatment for everyone.

    1. Hi Maggie….just sending all powerful and encompassing Love….for there is no room for anything else in the All of God. I’m so grateful for your many beautifully explained contributions here on SV. B.x

    2. Dearest Maggie, I love BarbaraUK’s sentiments, and am also sending many loving thoughts your way. Knowing that you can never for an instant be separated from God’s love and care. A favorite, Hymn 135 from the Christian Science (words only hymnal), “I know no life divided, O Lord of life, from Thee…I fear no tribulation, Since, whatsoe’er it be, it makes no separation between my Lord and me”… xo

      1. Dear J, Thank you for your loving supporting message – and the lovely hymn which will
be a perfect one for me to hold onto. I find lots of inspiration from the pertinent articles
you provide, and am very grateful to you, as I am to Evan and everyone who contributes
to this so helpful and healing SpiritView. With love, Maggie. x

    1. Really helpful article J Thank you. Puts into perspective that a healthy body is as unreal as an unhealthy one, thereby shutting the door on duality…ie improving matter! B.x

      1. Thank you so much, dear BarbaraUK, for your loving response. I also read the article mentioned
above, and found it very helpful. love, Maggie x

    2. All of the affirmations above are so helpful in seeing ourselves and
others in perfection and peace. Thank you, Evan, for these loving truths.
Thank you, J , for another great article. Thank you, BarbaraUK, for such
a sweet response to Maggie’s comment. I am grateful for the contributions
shared here, also by Maggie and All. I love what you wrote, “Puts into
perspective that a healthy body is as unreal as an unhealthy one, thereby
shutting the door on duality … ie improving matter!” What a wonderful
thought to keep in mind. We don’t need to “improve” on matter in any
way, when we see ourselves and others as spiritual expressions, with
unique characteristics that are God-given, including loving and lovely,
comforting and comforted, etc. – we reflect the One Mind, One Soul, One
Spirit, One Life, One Truth, One Principle and One Love = One God. That
is truly affirming the Truth, isn’t it and what could be better than that?

    3. What a wonderful, helpful article, J. Thank you for sharing it with us. I am grateful for all the articles you share. They are always very relevant and powerful.

  10. I love this. I affirm that today will be filled with only right action from divine Mind and all good will appear in all space filled with Love!

  12. I find it interesting that even the secular world is beginning to wake up to some degree on the nature of thought; this book popped up recently and its title caught my attention–it was described as follows:
“Don’t Believe Everything You Think” by Joseph Nguyen posits that excessive, uncontrolled thinking—not external circumstances—is the root cause of all psychological suffering. It teaches that peace is found by letting go of ruminative, negative thoughts and trusting one’s inner intuition rather than mental illusions.
    The Nature of Thoughts:
Thoughts are not reality. They are merely ideas and judgments that arise, but we often mistake them for absolute truth
.Trust Your Intuition: Instead of relying on logical, fearful thinking, learn to follow your “inner voice” or intuition to find peace and fulfillment.”
Isn’t this CS in different terms? I confess to reading most of the book but haven’t finished it. While those not familiar with CS could find it helpful, as our Spiritview friends know, only Mrs. Eddy stripped materiality from Spirit. And this book fails in that regard but I thought it was encouraging to see at least an attempt to help folks caught up in a fearful cycle of erroneous thinking.

  13. So very helpful, Evan. I will print this one. Thank you and thank you to all contributors – always inspiring.
