“It’s not about what you are that matters. It’s about what God is.”

A perfect antidote for the ‘blahs” that wanted to intrude this morning.
I’m sure divine Mind,
our perfect and blissful Soul,
never gets The Blahs.
So how could we?
Can’t!
Therefore, The Blahs
must be just another illusion.
:<))))
That statement reminds me of a very helpful hymn in the Christian Science Hymnal. The first verse reads:
Not what I am, O Lord, but what Thou art;
That, that alone can be my soul’s true rest;
Thy love, not mine, bids fear and doubt depart,
And stills the tumult of my troubled breast.
As we shift our thought from the problem to who and what God is — everpresent Love, omnipotent Truth, unerring Mind, — and to what He is knowing, doing, causing for us, fear, doubt, discouragement are dispelled, burdensome thinking dissolves and we rest in the certainty that God is always in perfect control!
