You are chosen, Part II

October 19, 2010 | 1 comment

To continue my thoughts from yesterday on being chosen…

Some people don’t like to be chosen to do things. They want to make decisions all on their own. They feel no one else can get it right but them.

But you know what? Humans don’t always make the wisest choices. A lot of self-will, self-righteousness, and ego-ignorance get in the way from making the best decision at times. And the outcome can be disastrous.

It’s wise to remember that God always makes the best choice. God knows what will prosper us, and when we kick self-will out the door and yield, the divine choice takes over our life and scoots us to a better place than we could ever figure out on our own. Humility allows God’s plan to reveal itself.

This is what I’ve begun to see at work in my life. Whenever I struggle, it’s because I’m not fully accepting God’s plan, the divine choice. When I yield, the struggle dissolves and peace takes over.

What about you? Are you accepting God’s plan? Do you see a larger force at work in your life taking you in a heavenly direction? It’s there. It’s always present.

When you yield to it, divine intelligence takes over your thought and actions and leads you to wonderful experiences you never dreamed existed.

More tomorrow…

  1. Yesterday and today’s posts have been very beneficial for me. And I love your term, “ego-ignorance”! Thank you for this daily lifting. Looking forward to tomorrow!
