Are you expecting the best?

February 5, 2016 | 9 comments

“It’s a funny thing about life: if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it.”

~ W. Somerset Maugham

And what is “the best,” with Christ?

It’s spiritual mindedness, knowing and feeling God’s presence, a consciousness overflowing with love, patience, the ability to forgive instantly, peace of mind and health. And you can have it all.

It’s yours, as a gift from God.

Do you see it?

Do you work for it?

Do you expect it to be part of your experience every day?

  1. thank you, dear Evan, there are so few sentences but so much contence with such an overflowing richness of Truths which can be applied and help and heal us today – thanks a lot!

  2. Yes! We’ve been promised the “gift of the Holy Ghost….” the gift of spiritual understanding, straight from Spirit itself! It does take some work on our part….to study and pray, to ask and desire and then to open up our thought to receive this Gift! Blessings to All!

  3. In opening up my thought in areas I am not comfortable, I am asking God to direct me in making the right choice. I find working through Divine Mind, I am able to proceed with positive results.

Sometimes I do not receive instantaneous healing but I keep on trying ?

  4. This is the perfect Truth today for me to imbibe and I am doing just that…thank you!!!! as always your clriirty shine through!

  5. I listened to Joel Osteen talk about his new book. He discussed the Bible concept of “I am”. He noted how we needed to declare consciously good things about ourselves. Whenever I need to uplift my thought I sit and say to myself ….I am kind, I am healthy, Iam happy, intelligent, creative, loved, and I just fill up with my close relationship to God.

  6. This is the first time I saw Joel Osteen mentioned on a C/S website. I too watch him because my aide who takes excellent care of me watches him every Sunday. I do like what he says about our relationship to God. Thank you for your comment, Patty.
