Realize your perfection now

January 13, 2017 | 18 comments

Do you realize that you are whole and perfect now?

From a material point of view, it won’t be obvious. The material senses see lack, imperfection and reasons to suffer. The human mind often operates at a very uninspired level and fails to discern the realities of God which are wholly good, abundant and blessed.

To avoid being misled and deceived, be sure to rely upon spiritual sense only to discern the truth about yourself.

In spiritual sense, you are a child of God, the offspring of the heavenly divine. You are healthy, strong, able, capable, intelligent and blessed. You have the abundance of divine Love to enjoy, the vigor of Life to express, the power of Principle to demonstrate and the integrity of Truth to wield. You are whole and perfect in God’s image, with no exception.

In spiritual sense, you are governed and empowered by God to be everything you are divinely designed to be.

There is no lack in Spirit, no reason to complain, no danger to fear, no worry to confuse.

All of God’s good belongs to you in Spirit, and is yours to fully express and enjoy every moment of your existence.

Don’t look for God’s good in matter or in a material world. You won’t find it. It’s not there. It’s in Spirit, and discovered through Mind.

You are perfect now. It’s the only way you were made and the only way you come. It’s the way God made you and keeps you.

You’ve never slipped from perfection, nor do you need to return to it. You have it now to claim, identify with and be.

Go ahead. Admit it. You are perfect—now! Not tomorrow, but this moment.

“The Christlike understanding of scientific being and divine healing includes a perfect Principle and idea, — perfect God and perfect man, — as the basis of thought and demonstration” Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health, p. 259.

  1. The realignment of my spiritual thoughts are very clear as you have given us in the blog.
How refreshing and right on point.
This reassurance of our identification is what I needed today and forever.

    Thank You Evan.

  2. This blog states the truth so well as to the truth of man as the idea or thought of God, the Father and Mother of each one of us now and forever. Accept the infinite gifts within of who you are! Each one is yours, acknowledgeable, beautiful and useful.

As a boy one couple, friends of my parents, enforced the truth stated above when they nicknamed me “Sunshine”. The love I found then and now in being given that name has brought much joy to me for decades that otherwise would been more cave like.

God bless you Evan for all the healing SpiritView brings daily to the multitude of thought.

    1. What a wonderful story! Thanks for sharing the origin of your name, and how you’ve lived that in your life.

And thanks to Evan for another timely piece! I’ve been working on identity for a while. It’s so essential to understand oneself as a perfect child of God! Once that becomes your reality, whatever seems to be going on no longer holds power over you. You KNOW God’s the only power!

  3. Thank you Evan for very clearly expressing what is really going on, “perfect God and perfect man as the basis for thought and demonstration.” (MBE). It always reminds me of starting with the right premise when challenged by material senses. It is working out from – not up to God. This is so what I needed to read and ponder today. Thank you, thank you for your pure love of God and man. I am very moved by your caring for us all!!! Enjoy, BEE

  4. I started the morning trying to move from a sense of “I can’t” to the truth of “God can.” Your post fit perfectly. Thank you!

  5. Thank you Evan for sharing. I am ever grateful for this blog and the truths shared. Blessings to all as we explore this perfect day from God.

  6. Thank you SO, SO much for this beautiful reminder! It is just what I needed to start the day. Thank you over and over for the daily spiritual nourishment you share. What a blessing!!

  7. Everything in God’s universe has perfect timing. If this fact were not so, we would not exist for a some point in the eon’s of time all would have fallen apart in self destruction. The perfection of God’s existence is not reachable expect through Mind that allows the truth of being to appear and support; with it our infinite identifiable expressions of that infinite-one truth.
What a beautiful story Sunshine. May we all join you, each in our own way, in that expression letting the sunshine in and out again to share that warm of divine Love.
Thank you Evan for that super abundance of divine love expressed in these blogs and the comments inspired by them. It is just pure joy.

  8. Thank you, all….I was told many years ago…”The mortal sight is the only sight that sees a tare.”…and, “Be what you are not what you seem to be.”

  9. This is perfect to add to our morning meal…printing it immediatly. Thanks Evan
Sunshine…I love that name …it is so uplifting. Thanks for everyone’s comments and this connection.

  10. Thank you Evan. This brought to mind something that has been helpful to me about perfection. When I was new in my study of Christian Science I would read the Bible Lesson each morning but when I left my home for the day I encountered problems. Nothing serious…just the little hiccups that would interfere with the peace and flow of the day. What am I doing wrong? I asked myself. Isn’t this suppose to harmonize my life? And then one day the answer came when I was watching the Giant Slalom skiing competition on TV. I saw that the point of the competition was for the skier to start at the top of the run with 100 points and then ski as fast as he could down the hill passing through all the gates on the way. Points were deducted if a gate was missed. The skier who got to the bottom with all 100 points intact and in the fastest time, won. I saw that God had given me my 100 points called my perfection and that my job was not to be talked out of it as I went about running my daily spiritual race. This understanding deepened when I read the story in the Bible of Nehemiah and how his enemies kept trying to talk him into coming down from the wall of Jerusalem he was rebuilding. I thought that this wall symbolized his perfection, his 100 points. And he wouldn’t come down from it or be talked into stopping, or tricked or fooled into giving up his perfection. This has been a help to me in remembering my perfection is intact. May we all “run with patience the race that is set before us…” Just a few thoughts to share with my Spiritview friends. I thank you all for sharing your inspiration along with Evan each day.

  11. Thank you Evan for todays SV of our present perfection so as God is perfect. Just what I needed – the absolute devine Truth that uplifts me. And thank you all dear commenters for the good you share.

  12. Evan, I read this as a treatment.. So uplifting and inspiring. Thank you for directing my thoughts toward God to see my own perfection in His perfection. “Perfect God, perfect man. Perfect Principle, perfect idea.”

  13. Evan, thank you so much for helping me start each day from a place of love rather than fear. Your blogs are incredibly helpful and timely! You’re an angel to us all!! Thank you, Karen, for sharing the analogy of starting your day with 100 points. What a clear way to illustrate and remember to start every day, every treatment, every demonstration from the divine perfection we already are and have always been rather than feeling we have to fix some problem, lack or “get back on track” to perfection. Love it. Thank you! All is well!
