No emergencies with God

Do you realize that you can live a life free of emergencies? Yep, it’s possible. There is no situation you can ever get into that God is not already there. There is no event that can occur that God isn’t prepared to handle it with ease, grace and a favorable outcome.

I worried about emergencies when I was about to become a parent with our first child on the way. I was concerned about what I would do if an accident or health crisis occurred.

As I prayed for peace of mind, I realized that with God, there are no emergencies. God is always prepared. God is always ready for anything. God always knows what to do and how to do it for the best outcome, and He’s doing it already. If I was committed to listening and following God’s direction, I would know what to do in any circumstance that involved our children. With God, there are no emergencies, only opportunities to listen and follow divine Love’s direction, I could see. And that proved to be the case.

Now that our children are raised, I look over the last twenty-five years and burst with gratitude for the fact that I cannot think of a single time that we faced an emergency with our children. They were very active with life, active in sports, out and about routinely, and traveled the world. Yes, health challenges arose, there were sports injuries, and other troubles to resolve, but each was handled with an understanding of God’s immediate love and care. There was never a dire fear. There was turning to God’s love and finding His healing power at hand to resolve the need of the moment. There was grace, not panic.

You can live free of emergencies too. God has given you a Life of predictable good to express. And that predictable good includes answers, solutions and actions that lead to harmonious resolution of challenges you face.

God is ready for anything. Lean on God, and you’ll be ready too.

“I am with you and will save you,” says the Lord“ Jeremiah 30:11, NLT.

  1. When I first saw the title of this, I noticed the the word “emergency” and that “emerge” is the first part of it.
    This thought came to me..that in an “emergency” we need to emerge from the material picture, emerge from the darkness of fear into the LIGHT of understanding the true picture . That picture is God being always in power, never for a moment being in an emergency situation, causing it, ignoring it…God just IS. To come out and be separate from an emergency situation we must direct fearful thought and action to EMERGE into light and trust in God’s continuous power.

  2. What a lovely post and an equally good comment from Diane…Thank you so much Diane I loved your comment…During an emergency, we need to emerge from the darkness of the material picture into the light and trust in God’s continuous power.. Very well said.

    Yes there is no such situation in our life, where God is not already there to help us, to handle the situation with grace, harmony and success. He is always in the picture, though He seems invisible to us. He cares for us beyond measure, since He is our divine parent.

    Earlier in my life I used to dread emergencies. But after learning the Truths in Science, I am so sure of God’s healing and powerful presence, His support and that of my good friends, (which He alone brings into our life). I am able to tide through difficult times and trials in life, smoothly and assuredly, depending entirely on His unfailing and tender care and strong support. Secondly I emerge a more stronger and a better person.
    “Trials are proofs of Gods care and they never leave us where they found us”.

    Hymn No.134
    I look to Thee in every need,
    And I never look in vain;
    I feel Thy touch, eternal Love,
    And all is well again:
    The thought of Thee is mightier far
    Than sin and pain and sorrow are.

    Thy calmness bends serene above,
    My restlessness to still;
    Around me flows Thy quickening life
    To nerve my faltering will:
    The presence fills my solitude;
    Thy providence turns all to good.

    Embosomed deep in Thy dear love,
    Held in Thy law, I stand:
    Thy hand in all things I behold,
    And all things in Thy hand.
    Thou leadest me by unsought ways,
    Thou turn’st my mourning into praise.

  3. “God has given you a Life of predictable good to express.” What a wonderful realization and a perfect phrase to carry through the day! Thanks so much Evan. Diane – thank you for the recognition of emerge in emergency! Really lovely. So grateful for this blog and all who share ideas!

  4. Such a glorious proof of God’s care in this post today and in the comments above. Thank you! I had been hit and sideswiped two times by a girl who ran a red light, while I was driving to a testimony meeting many years ago. She had totaled my little car and her SUV, but both of us were thankfully unharmed. It seemed surreal and just like a mortal dream when it was going on and still seems like it was just a dream. A tow truck driver was two cars behind me with his flatbed truck, on his way home and was so caring and helpful. He said that it was a matter of inches and I would not have survived a hit like that. Everything worked out in every last detail in my finding a much better car. Two witnesses who were walking on the street, came forth and gave a statement what had happened, otherwise it would have been her word against mine. Funny I had complained to [myself] several instances before, that I wish the car was a bit larger for the needs I had at the time. Never did I think it would work out in this way of unfoldment, ; ) , but our needs are met, sometimes in ways we would not expect and in the long run, this event turned out to be a blessing. Man’s extremes are God’s opportunities and we always have His/Her guidance and protection with us wherever we go and whatever we do.

  10. Thank you dear Evan, for this inspirational and lovely SpiritView of today. It shows me really the nearness of our loving God and his allknowing of every situation , and that the solution is already prepared for us by our Father-Mother-GOD!
    I love the last sentence: “God is ready for anything, lean on God, and you`ll be ready, too”

    I thank Carol for her interesting and inspiring experience.

    I had an emergency, where a relative passed on, which turned out at the end as blessing from God in form of abundant supply for me. I am so grateful for it.

    Thank you Nergish for the wonderful Hymnal 134 – love that so much because it lets me feel very loved, comforted and healed by God.

    Am grateful for all the healing SpiritViews and for all of todays loving comments which are the outcome of the lovely SV`s ;-))

  11. God’s presence is always even, consistent and powerful, so emergencies can have no reality or impact on man God’s eternal and spiritual being.

  12. Thank You Evans and everyone for diverse perspective, as we advance in Science of Being, we will appreciate Temperance call for expression through us and see no neccesity to know God is always with us through extremities. Grateful for peace, grace and harmony is the ultimate fruits of our life’s joy and being.
