That’s true. When someone doesn’t agree with us we have to think deeply about the subject. Thern, we can see if we were really right, a kind of right or totally wrong. But we have to be openminded.
What a truism. So simple. I was thinking about that idea just yesterday. I have a saying; “THOSE WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING, KNOWS NOTHING. BUT THOSE WHO KNOWS NOTHING, KNOWS EVERYTHING.” Adults think they know more than children. But the question is, do they know how that child perceives the world? Something to dwell in thought.
I have felt that way for years and have two friends and a son with whom I disagree on almost every point. However, I cherish their points of view and have certainly expanded mine as a result of their input.
