Supply coming your way

June 7, 2013 | 2 comments

As Jesus Christ taught, God knows our needs and supplies them before we even think we have a need.

“…your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!” (Matt. 6:8, NLT)

It’s the nature of divine Love to be forthcoming with an appropriate supply when there is a demand. Love doesn’t hold back, test us, or delay its help. Love’s provision is unqualified and instant, like a caring mother providing for her beloved child.

So, when it comes to demonstrating supply, the real question is not how fast will supply come our way, but how fast are we willing to receive it?

  1. Just what I needed to hear today, Evan. Recently I was going through the list of things that were needed for my new home – and I was putting them off until there was more supply. As I prayed the idea came that good didn’t need to be put off – God’s full supply was always present. It’s the “never doubting” part that seems to hold us back. And perhaps the follow-up gratitude.

  2. It is human to worry, especially in these economic times, especially when one is not working and needs 24/7 Nurse Aide help. It’s a temptation to overcome and just accept the fact that God knows what I need when I need it and thus supply it. And that’s where C/S comes into play by teaching the human how to apply successful prayer.
