Cheerful giving

“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’”

~ Apostle Paul, II Cor. 9:6-7, NLT

  1. Evan – thank you. This reminds me of a thought from a Sentinel article…sharing God’s supply and it won’t run out.

  2. Thank you very much Evan!
Giving is not always money or presents but rather good deads.
Sometimes in church I am asked to work out a reading for the next Wednesday in substitution although I already have other important offices. But I do it with love and joy for God, for that reader for whom I do that and for our dear congregation.
Also helping neighbors or family members can be done with joy and gratitude for all the good w e receive so freely from God .

  3. Yes…and giving smiles and cheerful greetings are so easy to give ..to all we meet or pass by. “Love is reflected in love.”
