With all the government shuts downs, slow-downs, and lock downs, it can be tempting to think that our ability to progress in life is limited. But this isn’t true!
Progress always starts with advancement in thought.
As thought advances, the experience it governs advances.
So, keep your thought advancing no matter what the government is ruling around you. The government doesn’t rule your thought. The one Mind is present to inspire it with unlimited possibilities and new opportunities. Your thought is free! Be sure to think free and enjoy the benefits.
Keep moving down a path of progress.
Evan thank you so much for this today. As always, God’s guidance is always correct, loving and timely.
We are all so blessed.
Thank you so much, Evan. This has come at just the right time for me.
So grateful to you for all your guidance.
Wow! That is so much more the me I want to be! No more pity party. Thanks!
Thankyou Evan so helpful
Taking steps of progress is such a healing message. There is no power to stop God and his love.
“Progress is the law of God. …and may Thy word enrich the affections of all mankind and govern them.” MBE
Evan, many thanks for your directing my thoughts in stepping upward each and every day.
Thanks Evan – well timed healing words as usual.
Wonderful inspiration coming at the right time. Thanks ever so much, Evan.
There is no greater prisoner than self imprisonment. Children of God, follow the divine law of truth and love. Be ye free.

Yes, it all starts with our thought. I have noticed recently that I have been drawn back into watching news clips, it is insidious. Today’s SV is a great reminder to pull my thought away from the turmoil to higher realms, thanks Evan.
On another note a big thanks to Brian for the link http://cslectures.org it is a treasure trove of older lectures. He listed it 2 days ago in the comments section from “No Random Error”.
Thank you Evan for the right healing message every day!!!!
Grateful!
Thanks for the link to the lectures. I have another one, but this one presents far more.
The lectures from Bicknell Young are taking me to another level!
Thanks for all this Bounty of right thinking.

In the 1906 Journal, there is a testimony by John M. Tutt detailing his transforming new birth experience. The last sentence is so fitting to today’s subject…”The aspiring man who is acquiring that Mind which was also in Christ Jesus cannot undergo retrogression; God is with him, and before him; there is only and ever the open road which leads upward and onward.”
Evan, thank you for your daily unfoldments of divine guidance impelling us forward in spiritual growth. And Brian for the link to older lectures. What a blessing to discover all the lectures given by my CS teacher!! So grateful!
I love this Evan. Thank you so much. Blessings to all today.
Progress is a Law of God.
Thank you Evan for helping to keep us on our path to progress! Linda, I loved the quote from John Tutt you included in your comments. Do you happen to know in which 1906 Journal it was published? I looked through all 12 issues and did not come across it. Also Jhp thank you for the link to the lectures. I find such good, sharing, caring friends here.
Thank you for this today, Evan! Always a good reminder that no government, person, place, or thing can rule my thought!!
Amen! And thought has POWER!
Today’s message and comments remind me of a favorite article, describing how Gideon went from feeling frustrated at little progress to country-helping triumph. The author wrote “In these trying days of a world’s readjustment, when old conditions are passing away, and new ones seem to appear with almost every rising sun, it sometimes happens that one may be compelled by circumstances to engage in some humble task at which he inwardly rebels because he knows in his heart that he is capable of doing something so much better.” In July 1935 the Christian Science Journal published the article “The Sword of the Lord and of Gideon”. Later in the article the author gives a reason why perhaps Gideon was selected for his momentous work “,,,[he was] doing the work nearest at and doing it as well as he could….” I recommend this article by the thoughtful and prolific Louise Knight Wheatley Cook.

Dear Desert Girl, The Tutt testimony is listed on https://cslectures.org . Under the index of christian science lectures scroll down to Tutt, John. Underneath the list of titles to his lectures click on Testimony. It’s a keeper! Much love to you.
I searched JSHOnline for the sentence Linda referenced from a Tutt testimony and found this…
