Location, location, location, is a mantra of successful developers looking for the perfect place to locate their business. They know that a restaurant, for example, located on a busy corner is going to be more successful than a restaurant located on a vacant back street that is absent from the public eye.
The same rule applies to the successful metaphysician. Location, location, location, is everything for welcoming in useful insight that heals.
Is your thinking located in a good place today? Is it situated on a “busy corner” of ideas flowing freely and abundantly from divine Mind that inspire, uplift, and heal? Or is it located on a backstreet of mortal mind where the streets are empty, the view is dim and prospects for productive activity appear dismal and depressing?
If we don’t like the location of our thought, we can change it! We can leave the depressing views of life in matter behind for the enlightening spiritual views of Life in Spirit coming from God.
Jesus Christ said, “Follow me!” He meant, follow his thought to God where the view is always grand and beautiful.
Don’t settle for a poor location for your thought. Get up and move your thought to a better place if you don’t like what you see. All things are possible to Mind!
Reach for the best. Accept the best. Set up mental camp in the most favorable location possible that brings the best results and yields the finest outcomes. Prayer, commitment, and sincere desire will get you there.
Choose the best location for your thinking and prosper.
Thought with God is well located!
Above error’s awful din, blackness, and chaos, the voice of Truth still calls: “Adam, where art thou? Consciousness, where art thou? Art thou dwelling in the belief that mind is in matter, and that evil is mind, or art thou in the living faith that there is and can be but one God, and keeping His commandment?” (Science and Health, p. 307).
Thanks for helping us to find that “location” where we can build a fruitful life and serve our fellow man.
Where we can feel safe and be that “right thinker”.
Mrs. Eddy says “His thoughts can only reflect peace, good will towards men, health, and holiness.” My: 210:16f.
Thank you for this timely post. It’s exactly what I needed!
Thank you Evan it is exactly what I needed this morning also
Thank you Evan. I have to say that reading Spirit View then going back at another time during the day and read other people’s comments, does in fact help to put my thought, prayers and study into the right location should it take a mortal drift! We are so blessed to have Christian Science in our experience.❣️
I like your phrase “a mortal drift”..so descriptive of what happens sometimes to take us off course.. But we can always reset the sail ( our way of thinking) and get back on course.. never a need for condemnation.
Yes I enjoyed the expression “mortal drift.” Very accurate. Drift implies something that is randomly carried along, and that’s how it feel sometime. But as Evan said, If we don’t like the location of our thought we don’t have to accept it, we can “get up and move thought to a better place.” That’s good to know. Appreciate all comments.
Trusting in the principle of spiritual understanding as Christ and MBE demonstrated is a pretty good location. A reliable truth founded upon divine love, full of he virtues of patience, grace and kindness.
Thanks again for your expression this morning.
I shall enjoy applying this and locate my thought appropriately.
There are many useful and uplifting locations to let the flow of Truth replace restrictions and improve our day.

Hymns are favorites when trying to find an uplifting location for thought.
Hymn 263 by Johann Olof Wallin
Only God can bring us gladness, Only God can give us peace;
Joys are vain that end in sadness, Joy divine shall never cease.
Mid the shade of want and sorrow, Undisturbed our hearts rejoice;
Patient wait the brighter morrow; Faithfull heed the Father’s voice.
As the stars in order going, All harmonious, He doth move;
Heavenly calm and comfort showing, Comes the healing word of Love.
Who the word of wisdom hear-eth, Feels the Father Love within,
Where as dawn the shadow clear-eth, Love outshines the night of sin.
So we find the true a-tone-ment, Known in God the perfect Friend;
For in Love is our at-one-ment, Where all hearts in Him may blend.
Here from prisoning pain and sorrow, Have we all a sure release,
Only God can bring us gladness, Only God can give us peace.
Have a happy, peaceful and blessed day!
That was the perfect hymn for me this morning David. Thank you for this blog Evan. I am in great need for locating my thoughts away from a situation that is trying to disturb me.
“Only God can bring us gladness, Only God can give us peace.”
what a great analogy! Thanks Evan!
Perfect for me today! Thank you Evan!
Thanks Evan for sharing this & all the uplifting ideas!
& along this thought line, enjoying Christie Hanzlik’s Metaphysical site tab article in cedarscamp.org

What a wonderful sense of freedom this brings. For me this makes clear that we are never stuck. Not in a situation, a state of mesmeric thought, not even in a physical location that seems immoveable, like heavy city traffic. Dwelling in Mind, spiritual consciousness we can be free. Thought is always free to move and is not dependent upon anything but Mind. Very exciting. Thank you!
A very helpful reminder of keeping our thoughts in line with our Father. I like to listen for the angel thoughts, as explained in Science & Health:-
ANGELS. God’s thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality.
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 581:4)
In 91st Psalm we are told that dwelling in the Secret Place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty, He (the Almighty) will give His angels charge over us. So we can always listen for those angels when we feel we are facing difficulties. We are promised that they will bear us up in their hands in case we hurt ourselves – they will protect us.
Lovely helpful suggestions from everyone, as always – thank you Evan and all.
Angie, thank you for the link to this wonderful article by Richard Brooks, “Where do we live, chaos or cosmos>” It makes so clear God’s law of harmony and order in His universe, and the powerful effect that knowing this has on the human scene. We are so blessed by the revelations in Christian Science interpreting what true substance is,–the divine Mind,– where wholeness, health, peace, prosperity, goodness and love never waver.
The daily guidance by you Evan, and all the loving comments and shares by this devoted group of adherents are so deeply appreciated!
Oh, brilliant! I met a woman yesterday, so troubled about the world, It’s coming to an end!
I said, how could anything God made come to an end? Only. evil ends!
Didn’t Jesus say for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory FOREVER? Don’t you trust what Jesus said? Yes, she said. Well, that’s true she said, her eyes gleaming. She wanted to know where I went to church and I told her, and gave her a flyer. She said she felt so much better! Of course. Her thought followed the Christ to the true place of Life. An EVER-PRESENCE of Love..
Awesome -thanks for sharing this! & so exciting expectancy expressed by having a church flyer already for her. Yeah! -God governs..
Joy to read EVAN’s blog each day & enjoy the readers’ comments.
It’s like a testimony meeting each day of the week!
Thank you all for sharing. I feel truly blessed & grateful.
Please keep up the good work. Location doesn’t just apply to real estate, anymore. Where my thought is placed? That’s the better question.
Angie, I too thank you for that link to David Brook’s article! How timely and thoroughly current for the present need of LOCATION of our thought and our concept of cosmos!
