  1. Thanks for sharing Evan sir such an inspiring words —to do the right thing. For me I think thinking always right , in human mind only right thoughts regarding everyone—- sometimes it’s difficult for me but your message will really inspire me .

  2. Thank you Evan for focusing our thought on doing what is right. God shows us what is right in His sight as we study and pray and turn to Him wholeheartedly, even (and sometimes especially) when that seems hard to do.

It’s comforting to be reminded that when thought is resting in God, it can’t be focused on the agitation of error.

Angie thanks for a good article on spiritual maturing, and a Blessed day to all!

  3. Thanks Evan, for reminding us of what is right.
By constantly focusing on doing the right, we will never do wrong.
Father-Mother help to keep all my thoughts on you so that I will do what is right.

  4. Instead of punishing a puppy for being excited and happy to see us and jumping all over us and nipping at us and doing all the normal dog things that dogs do among dogs they love I feel safe with… Reward the dog for sitting and give the dog that enthusiastic exchange of gratitude that teaches behavior you want to have instead of jumping on you and nipping. A simple clarity on what to DO, instead of a long lecture and confusion about what not to do and why not to do it. Meeting the heart’s desire of gratitude and greeting and deeper connection.

Translating inappropriate behavior and tone of voice and wording back to the initial values and needs for what we DO want.

Being grateful now instead of waiting until the body or another person or the economy or whatever changes to what we say we want in order to be happy. Being loving ourselves instead of Bechley unhappy and demanding that others love us first.

When I am so focused on being the reflection of God and glorifying and thanking God and loving God there’s no distraction of fear or self-pity

  5. Thank you Evan, and thank you once again Angie for linking such a supportive article, “The spiritual ripening that goes on within us” by David Kennedy. I love his articles, and especially this one. I find it’s message so encouraging. It can sometimes seem that spiritual progress is slow or stalled, and that one’s consistent prayer has had little or no effect to change an unwanted character trait, or a stubborn illness. Kennedy’s hope filled article assures us that “patient spiritual maturing” is always going on, and that the regenerative power of the Christ is always operating in individual consciousness to bring to light the pure and perfect God-like nature of each one. So grateful for the love expressed here on SpiritView.

A quote attributed to Mrs. Eddy which is framed in two locations in our home: “Do right & fear not”

  7. Thank you Evan for this important admonition, just very needed.
Sometimes when I am not quite sure whether it is human doing right or following God’s direction, doing right, it’s best to be aware what God wants me to do. Mrs. Eddy says in SH that reason the best human quality, so in that sense.
Am very grateful for these two sentenses in today’s SpiritView which are very helpful to me!♡

  8. A practitioner and teacher once sent me an encouraging letter that included the following remarks:

“For many years there’s been what’s known as the ‘defence of the walky-talky’ (as in walky-talky radio), which says that when you’re transmitting you can’t receive. So, when you’re pouring out Truth, you can’t receive error of any kind from any source… so long as you keep in transmission mode and never say ‘Over’ to error.”

I was reminded of this by Evan’s blog entry this morning.
