I like the word “Restore” – return to its Original
In heavenly Love abiding,
No change my heart shall fear;
And safe is such confiding,
For nothing changes here.
The storm may roar without me,
My heart may low be laid;
But God is round about me,
And can I be dismayed?
(Anna L. Waring, No. 148).

Even physicist say perception changes reality.. so I start my day with the question “What an I going out to see?”
Positive people have a better experience.. it’s a fact..
Is it selfish? No, positive people help lift the atmosphere of thought for others..
On what premise am I positive?
Gen. 1 God created and God so loved us He sent His son to guide us.
It’s not alway easy… it works..
See Scott Preller’s article in the Feb. Journal.
Yes, thank you John – we must look for the good that we know is there,
in spite of what the material senses are trying to convince us of.. By
always keeping our thoughts positively expectant of good, we will get
to see this in our experience.
If we have a health problem, Mrs. Eddy tells us to ”look away from the
body into Truth and Love, and you will bring these into your experience
proportionably to their occupancy in your thoughts.”
Dear John,
” What am I going out to see?” I like this expectation of the Good ! Thank you for this.
I did not see the article you are refering to in the Feb Journal, could provide some more information please ?
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The change takes place, although in my case very gradually, by constantly surrendering my will, my idea or concept of the ” world” which is illusory, as is my idea of myself (person-ality) which is constantly changing. That means it can’t be “me”.
In simpler terms “Let go and Let God.”
It isn’t easy. So called mortal mind is relentlessly working to keep us “in the world”. But the promise in Jeremiah (29:11) stands; “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope.” Trust the creator. Isaiah 55:8,9 teaches us; For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. Says the LORD. For even as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, TODAY is big with blessings. xo
I like that, Josef – we need to lose sight of personal sense and find ourselves
as the reflection of the One infinite Person, God whom we only reflect.
The beauty part of this restoration is that we don’t need to know or outline how this happens. What we do know is that divine Mind is continuously revealing itself to us, by reflection – and these unstoppable revelations are continuously transforming our thinking – and thus our lives. “That is enough!”
What a lovely message and graphic today! Butterflies are so beautiful ! –
caterpillars not so much. But,
“Just when the caterpillar thought it was the end of the world,
it became a butterfly”. (Author unknown)
The way I see this graphic and message, we transform from what we believe is
matter-reality and sometimes not so beautiful into what becomes a spectacular
winged angel of Love, which we have actually been all along, but just needed to
see and express our divine perfection and loveliness. Like a butterfly, we rise
above the mortal belief of crawling through life into a trajectory- path of Spiritual
awareness and glory. In this way, the mortal, like PW was referring to becomes
more in light of the way God has originally created things, rather than the way they
“appear” to be. Not easy, I know, but we are all striving to get out of that crawling
mode into the awakened-to-Truth mode.
Thank you Angel, thank you Evan , there is so much
Hope in the butterfly extraordinary transformation.
Last Saturday I was feeling down, ( in the funk), but we have always remember the healing is not so far than its look!
Yesterday Sunday after church I really didn’t feel to talk
To anyone.
In the afternoon a musician invited for a special jam session in my neighborhood; I hesitated…
All I wanted really is to lay down
And no contact . I finally went
And the fact to push myself and
Be there, it did the job. My natural energy( God’s energy)
Once more took over and my natural self, ( like Jay stated:
Restore= return to the original.thst all we are) Yes God’precious expression we are
Thank you, Pp, for your thoughts. I think we all have times like
that, how we may feel. At these times it is important to know that
God’s Love is there for us all of the time, regardless. God’s Love
leads the way to help us along our way. God never pressures us
but whispers gently. God doesn’t punch a time clock, but is always
available to turn to when we need comfort and what a wonderful
feeling that is. It is really God that is the energy, not we ourselves.
So we never feel pressured like we need to do something. Just
reflecting this Love as it is needed.
Glad you shared how you finally went. . . to be present. . . . for a musical event. . . . what a pick me up, to hear you rejoice how you “revived the “natural energy (God’s energy), to feel your “natural self” rejoicing/ fully restored/returning to the original ‘we’ ‘us’, God’s full and wonderful precious expression of HIM!
Reminds me of when I took on the task of attending every performance of the London Symphony Orchestra, when they were invited to perform where I grew up. Then every summer they returned and I accepted the duty of attending every night, to hand out /sell programs, but for no fee I attended each concert then remained to listen as they performed in our local auditorium!1!!! Joy, all around.
Josef, so true! My sister and I often say to each other…wherever you go, there you are!
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you”
It’s all within our consciousness, within our reach. It’s not “out there somewhere”. There’s no place we have to go to or move to (physically). We just need to move / change our thought from what seems to be a problem, to the Truth of the situation. How great is that? I don’t even have to leave my living room!
let s not be `of this world` let s know that there is only one world that of God s creating and live there and know that s where in reality everyone lives let s not compromise…..and let s see what difference that kind of prayer makes !!!
Yes, gill, appreciating God’s creation of our spiritual world is constant prayer..
and
“Happiness is like a butterfly. the more you chase it, the more it will evade you,
but if you notice the other things around you, it will gently come and sit on your
shoulder” – Henry David Thoreau
Excellent Evan. Motivation to seek the right idea is there for the taking. I think I’ve posted this before…
Feeling a little distanced from God? Well, who moved! ❣️
Thank you Barbara, “ who moved”?
Of course sometimes it seems that we can be
Prisoner in afortress with our mortal thoughts.
So we keep praying to bring back our naturel self:
It really Means peace, harmony and constant inspiration
FIR each passing day!
Thank you all for today’s inspiring post and comments. “Create in me a clean heart, O God;, and renew a right spirit within me. “ (Ps.51:10). My daily prayer is to be receptive and open to God’s healing messages of hope and present good. So grateful for this forum.
Another great article, J , Thank you! Some thoughts that go along with this
theme, as we transform in our journey through life and have a butterfly’s
metamorphosis as a beautiful example of learning spiritually:
The wings of hope carry us high over the winds of life.
No matter how strongly the caterpillar in you clings to the leaf, remember
it is within you to be a butterfly.

freedom and little flower” – Hans Christian Andersen

was looking for is the link to the article Fay included by Susan Booth

rest of that article if someone can include the correct link.

Certainty in uncertain times: https://www.csmonitor.com/Commentary/A-Christian-Science-Perspective/2020/0326/Certainty-in-uncertain-times
It’s wonderful, how God transforms us from human understanding to divine understanding, from a catepillar to a most beautiful butterfly, expressing God’s beauty; what a great progress in both instances! Thank you very much, dear Evan for this picturesque example for the naturalness of making spiritual progress!
Thank you all for the articles. I will read them tomorrow, as here it is midnight meanwhile.
Have a lovely day all dear SV friends!
Everlasting arms of Love are around, beneath, above and all is well. Within the circle of thy love secure we dwell. Beyond the borders of thy law we cannot stray. For who can stray beyond infinity? Mary Bakers Hymn also reminds us His Arm encircles me and mine and all.
But how? & into what?
The world is upsetting me – how must I change to make it better?
Better thinking.
