I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.
~ Thomas Edison
When you are faced with multiple options that don’t work, keep moving. Keep searching. There is an answer that solves your dilemma and brings healing.
Truth is your savior and readily yours to benefit from!
This reminds me of posters years ago that said Never give up in reference to Mary Baker Eddy. Persistence, patience, practice are qualities we all have. I like the drawing. Visuals are helpful. Thanks for this encouragement.

Nice infographic. The SCIENCE behind Christian Science.
A reflection in the mirror never fails to reflect its source.
Wow, I LOVE Evan’s message today!
So encouraging & strengthening ❣️❣️
What a great quote! Sometimes it does seem that we try 10,000 times before
success happens LOL , but what sweet success …. when all of the effort is
rewarded. The graphic with the light bulb is so perfect with the message and
love it. “If at first we don’t succeed, try, try again” – William Edward Hickson …
and another inspiring quote from Nick Vujicic, “I am gonna try again and again,
because the moment I give up, is the moment I fail”.
It is encouraging to know that with God, all things are possible, so thinking
spiritually is the success we need and …. Have already.
It’s fine to try and try, but if all our attempts and seeking are based in mortal thinking we are just going around in circles never getting anywhere. Like the hamster on the wheel. We’ve heard the saying, ‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.” Change the basis of thought to the uplifted spiritual mode, look up, away from the mortal scene. If I do this, and continue on in this way, then the seeking leads to success, healing, dissolving of wrong beliefs.
Thank you everyone, grateful to be in your company as always.
Love it! This compliments the thought above so well.
Perfect!! Love the visual and the quote. What an encouraging and necessary message. Thank you Evan and commenters. Love your comments Carol and Rose. Thank you.
Love it! Thanks Evan!
I love this quote. I had come across it about a month ago when I was working on decisions to be made about numerous things. Still doing what your circle says to do……do again, do again, keep thinking, keep praying, keep knowing that God has the right answer for all involved.
I’m been reading this article, Decisions-Decisions-Decisions by George W. Ledbetter March 27, 1971 in which he says,
“There is usually one sure thing about a correct decision: you feel right, you feel at peace about it. But how to reach this point? Turning to God in prayer will do it, but there must be wholehearted, unselfish turning; listening for God’s will and accepting it, and not continuing to hold out for your own human plan.”
Thank you Evan, for this validation that I’m on the right track.
I am also learning to be calm and peaceful…..not letting myself to get in a tizzy. My answers are all there. At God’s timing I will have the right answer for all decisions that need to be made.

Dear Patty, cannot open the whole article from George Ledbetter.
Thank you Evan, for this lovely quote about “never giving up” . One of the most importent and healing decisions!♡
Thanks very much for your very clear comment, Rose! I love such clear comment.
Love to all!!! ❤️
Love that quote by Edison and the infographic to go with it. That is what I love about learning about God and Christian Science. I often remind myself that that will always be a different perspective one gets from reading the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lesson, or Mary Baker Eddy’s writings. As Eddy, our Leader, says “…to understand God is the work of eternity…” (Science and Health pg. 3: 14-15)
Thank you Evan for this reminder to keep seeking for truth and never give up. Thank you to Syl from So. California, to Patty in TN and to Robert for the like to the article Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. Such a wonderful way to approach making decisions. I love what Rose said: “Change the basis of thought to the uplifted spiritual mode, look up, away from the mortal scene.”
