God is working through you

Are you aware of how much God is working through you today?

When a good idea comes to your attention, that is divine Mind thinking through you.

When a smile comes to your face because a loving thought warms you from within, that is divine Love bringing a touch of grace to your heart.

If you are driving down the highway, and another driver acts erratically, but you calmly maneuver away from their car and remain safe, that is the intelligence of Mind steering your car through you.

When you are playing a tennis match, and your opponent hits a wildly good shot to a hard-to-reach spot on your court, but you see what’s happening ahead of time and get to that spot to execute an impressive return, that is the Spirit of God playing awesome tennis through you.

Everything good traces to God, for God is the source of all good.  It’s important that we understand why good things happen to us, and the power at work behind them, because when we do, more of those good things continue to happen!

Give credit where credit is due and watch your blessings from that divine source multiply!

  1. I love this Evan. I wish I was made aware of such profound inspiration when I was at Sunday School…maybe I just didn’t understand…who knows , but I’ve learnt so much about Christian Science and how to live a true Love filled life in the last 7 years. For that’s what it is…everyday guidance and uplift to be more aware of our place as Gods child…and not just ‘’a religion ‘’.
    Blessings come with understanding❣️

    1. Remembering how Christian Science was taught, and writing a full report on Christian Science for my Senior-year High School English class assignment, the path was GO ahead, and which led to my being sponsored to attend the Biennial College meetings at the Mother Church, where I met Rose Henniker Heaton in person, without knowing her and Peter’s history. Blessed as that adventure was, Christian Science has continued to be my foundation for healing, including class instruction. The preparation was foundational, and continues to be fresh, new, important, and more informed every single moment. I thank GOD for each and every one of his blessings. The Christ is there EVERY day, to lead where I will follow.

    2. Yes, Barbara blessings come with understandings.
      I also wish I had Evan as my Sunday School teacher years ago. I have learned so much from him each weekday. Many thanks, Evan, for clarifying so many CS concepts in meaningful ways that have illumined my understanding of God as REALLY ever-present, every second, every day – every step along my pathway of Love.

  2. This is exactly what I need to hear today. All good, creative ideas come from God. And God is always working through us when we return love for hate; act with humility; and are kind to others. Thank you Evan!

  3. Thank you Evan, “give credit where credit’s due”; an attitude of gratitude!
    I was working along the lines of the abundance of Love and Light in our lives this morning, and sharing of this abundance, when “rich overflow” popped into my thoughts. I looked up the Hymnal and there it was,
    Hy139 (last verse)
    Come, walk with Love along the way,
    Let childlike trust be yours today;
    Uplift your thought, with courage go,
    Give of your heart’s rich overflow,
    And peace shall crown your joy-filled day.
    Come, walk with Love along the way.

  4. Thank you, Evan for this and so many inspiring ideas that you send our way every day! Much love and gratitude for all the blessings they bring to so many.

  5. Thank you for this beautiful reminder of God’s grace.
    I have been feeling overwhelmed and anxious about a huge project I am engaged in. I now feel inspired and excited to look for that evidence of God’s goodness and inspiration with every step I take. I look forward to seeing more of what God reveals to me of his beauty and grace every day.

  6. Much love and appreciation for the wonderful working ideas today and everyday dear Evan and for all who share here. Such a gift is certainly divine Mind at work in our lives and lives in each of us for eternity. Amen!

    1. Exactly how I feel every day!
      There is no CS church in my area, but the truth, love and inspiration shared here gives me what church community would. I’m very grateful for spiritview and especially Evan for being such a great teacher and mentor.

      1. “All things work together for good to them that love God” and “…of Him, through Him, and to Him are all things…”

  7. …so we have opportunities all day long to say thank You, God, thank You , God, thank You, God!!!

    Thank You, Mind, for SpiritView!
    What a wonderful gift ❤️

  8. Hymn 354 comes to mind:-

    Tis God the Spirit leads
    In paths before unknown;
    The work to be performed is ours,
    The strength is all His own.

    Supported by His grace
    We still pursue our way;
    Assured that we shall reach the prize,
    Secure in endless day.

    God works in us to will,
    He works in us to do;
    His is the power by which we act,
    His be the glory too.

  9. This poem from Sunday School

    I am a place where God shines through
    For He and I are one not two.
    He wants me where and as I am
    I need not fret nor will nor plan
    But if I’ll just be relaxed and free
    He’ll carry out his plan through me.

    1. Thank you Maggie, for supplying this hymn, it fully opens the way, leading us to LOVE, full of prayer, understanding, and results which appear where needed. This Christmas, the hymn 354 will lead the way to heal what’s broken, and what needs LOVE to lead me to HEALING what’s suffering, no matter what the distance, circumstances, nor disgrace. Thanks ever so much for sharing the hymn leading to full support by ‘grace’..

  10. Many thanks for this reminder, dear Evan! So good to be aware that God is here in a practical way all the time. Alleluia!

  11. All good where’er it may be found,
    Its source doth find in Thee;
    I must have all things and abound,
    While God is God to me.
    Hymn 24

  14. Dear Evan, you have hit the mark, once again!!! Thank you for this inspired blog. Love the tennis story!
    A couple of weeks ago some friends and I were talking about going to the Messiah sing-along and were told we could get our tickets at the door. Two days before the concert we learned they were sold out. Sold out! How could that be, the church holds 384 people. I emailed a couple of people that were going to be singing and got the same answer……sold out! In further research I saw in small print….get on the waiting list ….so I made contact and within a short time I got an answer saying she (the music director) had 10 cancellation tickets that she wasn’t going to publicize. If we get there early the tickets will be there for us. Truly divine Mind directed me to the waiting list.
    The concert was marvelous! Thank you God for your goodness!
