  1. So very apt in the light of what is happening politically at the moment. It can feel our democracy is being threatened in Europe. Need hold to that which is good. Thank you Evan.

  2. Everything exists in the eternal spiritual now – God is never absent and is always in control of His creation.
Material mortal opinions and conflicts have no power
or reality, because they are not of God, the only Cause
and Creator of all that exists.

We can prayerfully stick with the good we know is going on now, and look for more of it in everyone and everything, and not allow ourselves to be intimidated by what the material eye sees or reports.

Our God is good – good is our God now and forever.

  3. Yes, impossible to argue with what IS.
    Reality IS Reality!
What or who could argue with What IS?

Once higher perspectives reveal a ROUND Earth,
all Flat Earth arguments immediately fail!

SpiritView helps lift all reasoning to higher, clearer views of our perfection as God’s ideas. No going back!

    Thanks for the lift, Evan!

  4. Human thinking is linear thinking where we are on a spectrum from left to right. Divine knowing is what is happening right now.. Time and eternity become one and in that oneness we are at one with God.

      1. J that quote made me think of something that was mentioned in a comment here on SV a little while ago (sorry I don’t remember whose comment it was) but essentially it said, “God’s creation is appearing continually. ” It just sort of stuck with me, that Truth is continually present, we just need to observe with our spiritual eyes. While looking to see if it was from S&H I came across this article from Nov 1951 CS Journal “CREATION APPEARING” by Marie C. Hartman.

        https://journal.christianscience.com/issues/1951/11/69-11/creation-appearing

It opened for me fully but if it doesn’t for others perhaps someone could share the full link. Thanks to All.

    1. Thank you, J, for this beautiful article from The Monitor. Thank you, Evan, for SpiritView. Every read is a growth more spiritual.

  5. What a lovely message of God’s ever presence and caring for each of
us … in the Now. It is so comforting to know and not be trying to
foresee the future. The sweet child of God, as we all are – above …
cutting out the snowflakes, reminds me of doing the same when
I was young. Folding paper and cutting and never knowing what
the outcome would be, was always a wonderful surprise and like
snowflakes are all different, our uniqueness as reflections of God
defines us in this spiritual and special way.
Such a joyous way to start the day, with these delightful thoughts.
    Thank you!

    1. I remember doing that as a child too, Carol- I couldn’t really see what they were doing in the picture, but now you said, I can see it – thank you. Simple childlike activities that brought joy.
      .

  6. A shout out to Maggie (and anyone else who might be interested in responding.) 🙂

A bit ago Maggie attached a link to an excellent article, “Present Perfection.” In the fourth paragraph from the end it says, “… it is Spirit’s job to make man perfect and to give evidence of this perfection…”. In light of Evan’s topic, about what is happening now, I’m trying to understand “it is Spirit’s job to MAKE man perfect… Thoughts?

    1. Hi J. – Yes, I love that article.
      I understand that to mean
that as God is renewing us every moment as His
spiritual perfect idea, He is making man freshly and perfect every moment in everything he is and does. Man is therefore the tangible proof of God’s presence in our life as our life. Man never stagnates but is ever fresh and new as a living witness to God’s perfection.

The Scripture says – Behold, I make all things new:
and in Class we were told it would be helpful to change the word “new” to “now” hence it would read” “Behold I make all things NOW

In Science and Health mrs. Eddy states: “…..the divine Mind makes perfect, acts upon the so-called human mind through truth, leads the human mind to relinquish all error, to find the divine Mind to be the only Mind, and the healer of sin, disease, death.
      (SH 251_)

      Does this make sense?

      1. P.S. Obviously God is Spirit, so it is God’, Spirit’s job to make man perfect, and to provide the evidence as His own image and likeness.

        1. Thank you so much Maggie for the insight. I appreciate it. What confused me were the words “to make man perfect”. “To make” made me think that God has to make something go from imperfect into perfect, which I know is incorrect from a spiritual standpoint. So there is still an activity of making something “happen” that is really divine Mind acting upon the human mind through truth, if I’m grasping that correctly.

          1. I think to really understand this, we have to rule out the belief even of a human mind
that needs to be made perfect. As I
understand it, we are the direct expression
of the one Mind, which is God. He is expressing Himself perfectly as man and the universe all the time, and not through
or in another medium. Rose’s lovely prayer following says it beautifully – that
He made us perfect and is continuing to
make us, – because we are the expression of His infinite ideas.

The human so-called mind is the place where Christ is educating us out of the material false sense.
            Mrs. Eddy explains the three
stages of our experience out of so-called mortal mind and its awful deeds, into an intermediate state, the human, where we gain and express more of our spiritual qualities, and these lead to the final
stage when we arrive at the full understanding of our true being – our Christlike identity Then we find ourselves at one with God and naturally reflecting His ever-new and fresh creative ideas. God, Spirit is the only Cause and Creator of all,, there isn’t any other, and He is continually unfolding (or making) everything brand new always in His likeness. We are the evidence of how He is expressing Himself

I am sure you know where this is in Science & Health – I can’t pin-point the
age from memory. I can come back later
and find it for you if you can’t find it. Or
            maybe someone else can.

    2. Thanks J and Maggie for your thoughts. It reminds me of a little prayer I sometimes say, “Thank you God that we are all perfect before You, just the way you made us…and continue to make us.”

      1. Thank you Rose – that is a lovely prayer and
        a perfect answer.
( =I don’t know why my further reply to J came out in a long slender line. It looks silly and makes it look longer than it really is.)

        1. Thank you Maggie for taking the time to further explain the concept. Much appreciated! Using the word “unfold” instead of “make” gives me a much clearer understanding. Thank you too Rose! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. XO

          1. You’re very welcome, J. I’m glad it helped a little. We are all still learning, and there is much to learn. We really only get a clearer understanding of things spiritual when it comes clearly into our own thought through what we are studying and demonstrating.
Wishing you, J, and everyone also a wonderful rest of the weekend. xx

            weekend

  7. I have been pondering the extension of the original message and have
found it very helpful. Also in S&H’s where Mrs. Eddy writes about Creation.
It came to me, on pg. 515, “Genesis i. 26. And God said, Let us [make] man in
our image, after our likeness …”
She also writes, in her chapter on Creation, “Man is more than a material form
with a mind inside, which must escape from its environments in order to be
immortal.” … and, “A mortal, corporeal, or finite conception of God cannot
embrace the glories of limitless, incorporeal Life and Love. Hence the
unsatisfied human craving for something better, higher, holier, than is afforded
by a material belief in a physical God and man”.
I interpret that to mean – that if we are limiting ourselves to being mere,
material mortals, we are not reflecting God, who made us like Him/Her …
Perfect in Spirit and not within a finite human form … in “reality”.

      1. Thank you, J. Seeing the spiritual, as Evan always prompts us
to do and in his words, “Pray to see what is happening between
you and God now, for what you see happening between you
and God Now, you can rest assured will be happening later, too.”
I have always found that things always do work out when we
trust God’s ever present Love for us. Looking back (only to
appreciate what God has done) – I see that challenges that may
have Seemed like struggles, were actually necessary to grow in
        Spirit.

          1. Thank you. Your shares and articles are much
appreciated, too. … as are Evan’s and everyone
            here. : )

  8. Thank you Maggie, J and Rose for your comments, links and observations.
Spirit View has taught me to always start with God and my relationship to Him whatever the circumstance. Needless to say sometimes it seems easier than others!
It came to me recently that there can be no time in NOW. This helped me realise the power of the principle of eternal reality. At the time I was suffering with some back pain and forgot about it until later when I realised I’d had an instantaneous healing.
Now we are living and expressing all Gods qualities. And these qualities conform to divine Principle
Being untouched by an erring material conception.
Thank you Evan for your continued encouragement and happy weekend all❣️

    1. Thank you BarbaraUK for sharing your thoughts. I especially love the thought that there is no time in NOW. What a wonderful healing too from this realization. xo
