Thank you Shelagh. Just perfect for giving a sense of comfort and trust going forward with God. I found a link to the full text of the poem, titled The Gate of the Year by Minnie Haskins. I read that it was the favorite poem of Queen Elizabeth and it became famous when her father King George VI quoted it in his 1939 Christmas broadcast to the British Empire.

My British mother had this framed and hanging by her nightstand. I inherited it and it means so much to me EVERY day.
