Don’t indulge anger.  Conquer it.

Do you ever feel like you have no choice but to get angry at actions you find offensive?

When witnessing what you perceive to be stupidity or malice at work, it may feel tempting to get angry.  But it’s wise to keep one’s spiritual perspective intact that leads to mastery of the situation, rather than subjection to it.

If we allow anger to take over our thoughts, we are no longer thinking for ourselves.  We are being used by mortal mind for evil purposes.

The apostle Paul wisely instructs, “Don’t sin by letting anger control you.”  He is so clear on the evils of anger that he continues, “Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil” (Ephesians 4:26,27, NLT).

For the best life, keep anger out.  Master it.  You don’t need it.  It’s not a friend.  It’s an enemy to health and happiness.

Stick with Love instead.  Live Love.  Be Love in action.  Anoint and bless others with Love.  Everyone will be better off, including yourself.

  1. God is infinite Love! No anger, or anything unlike Love, there at all. Love, love, love, love Live Love & be love.

  2. So beautifully stated, Evan. Anger would prevent us from acknowledging God’s ever present Love and its healing authority. We need to put it down any time it tries to present itself.

  3. OK! Right-O! The Wisdom of this is Clear!
