It’s a common misconception that God may send good or evil our way, depending upon our worthiness.
In Christian Science, God is wholly good. God sends only good our way, always! And forever.
Like the sun shines light, and only shines light. God sends good, and only good.
When you turn to God for help, you can have absolute confidence that God is only going to send something good your way.
As the Bible reminds us, “The Lord will give what is good” (Psalm 85:12, NKJV).
Bad things don’t come from God. They are part of the illusion of life in matter, which is a sad and generally unhappy mental place to be. The purpose of prayer is to break out of that illusion, and wake up to reality, to see God as the sum and substance of all true being.
As we align with God, we feel God’s presence, we find God’s good. It’s coming your way, now and always! Enjoy it.

How grateful to know that in Christian Science we LEARN that God is wholly good!! And Christian Science teaches how to prove God’s complete goodness and EVER perfectly good-will, even in the measure that we learn and practice the Christ’s Science, as we see beyond the illusion. Thanks be to God for His perfect (thus also eternal, ever-present) goodness.

At first, I misread your statement saying that God is the sum and substance of all true being. I thought you wrote, “God is the SUN and substance” of our life. I like thinking of that..
So when I tried to dictate into my phone, my comment, my smart phone, (as if thinking it’s smarter than I am) changed my dictation to, “ God is the summon and substance of all being”. So I was wondering, in what ways is God summoning things if God is all, but in our human dream in which we are awakening up to God, as all in all, truth is summoning clarity and peace and trustworthy, reliable, continuity, and universality. Mind is summoning into our conscious awareness and experience, wisdom and inspiration and calm, spiritual logic with the knowledge we needed any given moment.. etc.
Since God is the SUM, there is nothing more and nothing else. and as in an addition, arithmetic statement, it is perfection and completion and totality. No error allowed.
wondering when the deed of healing will happen
when the glory will come
when to get ‘myself ‘out of the doorway
and then God will be all i see.

imagine That,,, a perfect view, Spirits Truth is born
and there is no mortal left to think ,..
