What are you admitting about the body

October 9, 2026 | 4 comments

What are you admitting about the body today?  Do you see yourself as a spiritually empowered being, healthy, strong, vital, safe, secure, alive and well?  Or are you entertaining something less than desirable?  If so, it may be time to revise your outlook.

Mary Baker Eddy writes, “Admitting only such conclusions as you wish realized in bodily results, you will control yourself harmoniously” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 392).

The spiritual truth is that you are a spiritual being living in the body of Spirit which is endowed with eternal health.  You are a healthy and well spiritual child of God this instant.  This is your reality with God now and forever.  You never lose it.  You still have it.

Be sure to admit it!!!

Be wise to not let mortal mind mesmerize you into believing something less.

You are not worthy of suffering.  That’s not you, the beloved child of God.

You are worthy of health and freedom, which is God’s plan for you, the divine design at work on your behalf and your reality to live out.

So, stay healthy.  Admit your spiritual truth with God.  Side with it mightily.  Don’t forget it.  Don’t lose track of it.  Agree with it.  Cling to it.  Identify with it.  And kick out of thought anything less.

  1. Another timely admonition, Evan. Thank you. And we can add “Stand porter at the door of thought” (pg 392) and know that “no subtle error creeps” (hymn 267) into our thinking to temp us to believe that we are not “a healthy and well spiritual child of God this instant” because we ARE that healthy spiritual idea of God, right here, right now, and that is the truth of our being!

    1. Thank you, Evan, for this reminder…so well put!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
And thanks to Mike for your confirmation!
