If the body ever starts to feel whacky, out of control, taking on a “mind of its own,” I often remember in my prayers that as a child of God, I reflect the intelligent action of God.
God is intelligent, and everything God made expresses divine intelligence.
Disease is not an expression of intelligence. Health is an expression of intelligence!
As children of God, we have a divine right and ability to express the intelligent action of God. Every cell of our being is a spiritual idea of God that expresses the intelligent activity of Life, Truth, and Love.
Where the intelligence of God is operating, there is no room, space, or place, for non-intelligent action to manifest. Disease is non-intelligence. Health is intelligence.
Intelligence is competence, order, understanding, wisdom, action that produces good results, sound health!
One cannot express intelligence and non-intelligence at the same time. The activity and operation of intelligence excludes non-intelligence. It excludes disease.
Accept your right and ability to express the intelligence of God without limit. It’s the way God made you. It’s your divine right!
A body under the influence of divine intelligence is calm and obedient to Truth.
As a spiritual child of God, you reflect divine intelligence—without exception.
So logical… a priceless SpiritView! Thank you Evan.

There is such a temptation to think of humans originating something.. the ultimate mistake being the idea humans give birth to new identities.

Thank you Evan. Intelligence is a great tool for spiritual growth. You have made it clear here that we reflect intelligence at all times. Thus whatever decision and action we take, must rely on this intelligence which is effective only when it comes by reflection.
I know Christian Science most commonly associates God with Love and as ( I think) both John & Paul said —“ God is love” in the Bible , but for me , Intelligence is THE “ winner” when it comes to defining God. Actions speak more than words, (as the saying goes), but action unsupported by intelligence can be disasterous. As humans in this awareness of life, we all need to DO things, be active, make wise decisions based on guidance from God, be progressive and forward thinking . All of this requires us to spiritually connect to the divine intelligence that created all and maintains all reality .—- use our spiritual sense! The physical symbols of life, weather, growth, expansion, stability etc are all under INTELLIGENT control but when people turn their backs and minds to our God- given harmony we see chaos. Yes the divine intelligence IS SO apparent in the creation that we experience even in a limited way, but if we SEE THE TRUTH of harmonious intelligent creation , negative effects can change in a minute.
Every SpiritView is for me edifying, but this morning’s brings out a brilliant idea! “Feeling whacky” would not seem a very scientific term, however, it very clearly describes the nonsense of mortal mind. I am so grateful for the grace of Mind, and for all the followers of Christ in this community!

Well, thank you very much Diane! That is so truely and wisely said! Without the divine Intelligence we can do nothing, so this universal divine Intelligence which is God must be reflected by His/Her children then all our doings result in Harmony and fruitful and healing Actions! 🙂

I just remember this week’s Bible Lesson, where we read about the story of Salomo, who was asked by God in a dream what Salomo desires what God shall give him. And Salomo desires Wisdom and an obediant heart to rule the great volks of God in righteousness. And God gave this all to Salomo!
One could somehow compare Evan’s following passage with Salomo’s story: “Accept your right and ability to express the Intelligence of God without limit. It’s the way God made you. It’s your divine right.”

Thanks so much for this post, it was just what I needed to hear. I have been praying to know what I need to understand better and what you have written here is an answer to that prayer:)) It often seems like the body has a “mind of its own,” and can do what it wants. It is so reassuring to know that everything, including us are really governed by Divine intelligence which stabilizes and grounds all in Truth. This is Love in action. Thanks again!

Thank you Evan and All Spirit Viewers. This topic led me to Mrs. Eddy’s
Unity of Good, pg.25, especially, where she writes,
“Mind is not, cannot be, in matter. It sees, hears, feels, tastes, smells
as Mind, and not as matter.. …This lie, that Mind can be in matter …
is an illusion. This denial enlarges the human intellect by removing
it’s evidence from sense to Soul, and from finiteness into infinity. It
honors conscious human individuality by showing God as its source.”
It seems the latest foible of some humans to create or see AI, artificial
intelligence, “man as being a creator”, and taking the place of God, is
just another way of mortal, (little mind)s trying to replace and be a
power that is Not . As Evan declares, “as a spiritual child of God,
you, [we] reflect divine intelligence – without exception”. A Lovely
thought to hold on to! in this “whacky” world of late.
I admire how you’ve described a human source of misconception in thought. When my husband advised me that he is seeking further medical attention for a discomfort already healed, your reference to UNITY OF GOOD, page 25 woke me up to how to best serve LOVE as the attention required, not further human inspection. Great idea!!! With much gratitude.

Evan, thank you for this thorough treatment laid out for us. If I were the claim of animal magnetism trying to govern man, I would be completely and thoroughly annihilated! Destroyed! And the intelligent reflection of God(the real man) harmonious, healthy and well, would be all that remains. Christian Science is truly awesome! We would be wise to emulate this train of thought. So grateful for the essence of wiseness expressed here.
Some days are pretty wacky to material sense. ..upsetting normal activity and order.
Last week I had such an occurrence and many activities had to be done in a hurry.
I WAS FEELING ABIT UNDONE when thought from the lesson,.pg 215 line 12 in
Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddycalmed my thought and order was restored
“Whatever. Is governed by God , is never for an instant deprived of the light and
might of intelligence and Life.”. A perfect answer. Thanks for your constant reminders.

Mary Jane I too was impressed with that quote from Mrs. Eddy, which was the final line in the final section of last week’s lesson on Life, “Whatever is governed by God, is never for an instant deprived of the light and might of intelligence and Life.” It was a good way to end. When we admit and begin to understand that we are governed by God alone, its good to know we are never without His Light and Might. “God withholds no good thing from His child who walks uprightly [follows Him]” (Psalms 84:11)
Evan your post today was a statement of absolute Truth, no equivocating. no compromise, just Truth with a capital T. That is one of the things I love about Christian Science, it is absolute in its teaching and understanding of man/woman and the universe. No wiggle room, God is All In All, period. As you said, “[we] reflect divine Intelligence –without exception.”
Evan,- your post today, and all the heartfelt and intelligent comments, are a dynamic metaphysical treatment that strips away the pervasive claim that disease has power.
In Unity of Good on page 7 Eddy writes…”When I have most clearly seen and most sensibly felt that the infinite recognizes no disease, this has not separated me from God, but has so bound me to Him as to enable me instantaneously to heal a cancer which had eaten it’s way to the jugular vein… In the same spiritual condition I have been able to replace dislocated joints and raise the dying to instantaneous health.
Further on she writes……”an acknowledgment of the perfection of the infinite Unseen confers a power nothing else can.”
