shortest blog…. shortest words in comments….must be going the right direction
of course it would be wonderful when we walk with a crowd in the right direction
HAPPY Jan 6th…….
off subject… but motivating myself to get with the program……I don’t discuss age for we have many years but no age…so for fun i calculated this…
If I’m here till age 80 I have 5840 days left before next cycle begins..get to work in the right direction maximo…..don’t look at the crowd or listen to what they say or adopt their thinking
and remember….
the questions of the head
are answered in the heart…..
Maybe that’s what Mary Bake Eddy meant when she wrote: “The time for thinkers has come.” Don’t follow the crowd of matter-based thinkers……the Truth demands thinking independently “of doctrines and time-honored systems,……the cold conventionality of materialism….”
I’m like you in this respect…..trends…news…gossip…fashion….
TV…….ect….herd mentality
I discovered I am a musician by wearing a business suit
Please forgive me , but the “suit” is one of the funniest
things to wear…an act of conforming to a particular mindset
Not a criticism to our beloved brethren in suits… just my journey
from conformity to individuality..
If we happen to be blessed with the ability to be alone with ourselves and our own thoughts, and enjoy this without struggle, this spiritual work can be done in a very rich and fertile environment
Hi Maximo – love your logical poem. At the end of it I came to laugh – thank you!
And thank you Evan. But there are instances , where we find others, too, going the right direction – how lucky can we be then. That is for instance the case in our churches, when we work together, pray together or sing together – all the right direction, towards God! But Dianes verse is correct, too. Love the nice picture 😉
I loved yesterday’s blog about Unchangeable Perfection. Those one liners are just so right to the point and easy to remember. They are like arrows that do not miss their mark! I printed it out to keep handy, when I need a reminder. Thank you for those, Evan.

Love the one-liners Evan. Although I live alone (and have for 29 years) I have never felt alone – God is always with me. Like Nadine says, I have never had a problem walking alone. I am glad that I have a loving God that will tell me I am going in the wrong direction.
So True!!!!
True indeed!!!!
We are never alone, we are in God’s care.
Love the picture!

Love the pic, too. And walking in the right direction means no mortal mind to follow. Ha
Thank you.
Love your comment, Kathy!
Thank you.
Is the nothingness
of nothing, something
to consider……?
One Reality
therefore,
here now….
This reality is mental
therefore
matter is mental….
But as a dream
therefore
nothing…..
The nothingness
of nothing is
nothing to
consider…..

I have always made my own choices and have not feared walking alone. It is nice to find those who are likeminded.

So many times we must walk alone in Christian Science…
We are never separated from the Love of God when we’re on our “alone” path..
