We’ve never been on a cruise ship before….sounds a bit scary. What do you do on a ship out at sea?
Relax, wind down, find new energy and fresh vision, enjoy your spouse’s company, gather your thoughts, think and pray…
Whoa, that’s a long way down there!
I’m standing on an upper deck and looking down at luggage bins about to be loaded on the ship. Hope our luggage is in there somewhere.
Goodbye Seattle! What a beautiful day to set sail.
Bon Voyage, dear Evan and Kathy! Of course your
trip will be wonder-full!
I’m so glad you are going in the Fall; we did this,
too, many years ago, and discovered Denali National Park (Hope you go there, too!) to be so intensely colorful we were awe-struck! So much for preconceptions…we thought Alaska was white and green!! Ha ha!
:<)))
Have a marvelous time, Evan and Kathy. My 2nd wife and I did the same after 1 year of marriage. We went down to Nassua. There I bought a watch thinking it was a token of the Island nation. When I got home, which was New York City, USA and opened the package containing the watch, I found that it was made in Japan and sold to the store where I bought it in Nassua, came from JCPenny in New York. Just imagine, my wife and I had to spend money for a trip to Nassua to buy a watch that came from New York City, our home town. WHAT A LAUGH that was.
Evan i’m very mad at you for showing such a beautiful sunny photo of Seattle. We Seattleites try really hard to keep this a secret. Really folks, it’s gray and raining and windy all the time here! All the time! And really cold rain too.
I know, I know! Seattle is a mega-rainy city!! LOL After I snapped this picture and looked at it with no clouds in the sky, I thought, oh my goodness, this is not normal Seattle. Where are the clouds?
So, I couldn’t help but post it. What a beautiful day in Seattle it was. They do happen!
I recommend getting into a bush plane at some point. In Ketchikan you can get a flight out to see bears, Misty fjords, I think. It’s a wonderful way to broaden one’s view of Alaska.
