Be sure to observe

You see, but you do not observe.

~ Sherlock Holmes

Don’t just look, observe.  And from God’s point of view.  What does Truth see and observe?

  1. What doesTruth see and observe?
    Gods manifestation… spiritual man…perfection in motion…Love in infinity…Life as expression…inexhaustible ALL❣️

  2. What does Truth (and the other six synonyms for God) see? Nothing, but pure Love for His. Creation, man. Fear or False Evidence Appearing Real to us has no part of our existence when we understand the reality of God as our Father Mother. I am so grateful to Evan and my connection with the SpiritView family, which helps me know how powerful God’s love is for each one of us.

    1. When I did a search in my email for “observe” this article came up. I copied the article, but don’t have the link. It’s called “You belong to God” by Nathan Talbot and it’s very thought-provoking, If someone could kindly add the link, it would be appreciated. 🙂

“It isn’t our personal responsibility to fight off the darkness of error. The light destroys the darkness. We observe, affirm, surrender to, and live this light of Truth. But we appear to belong to error or matter until we truly see that “the battle is the Lord’s” (I Samuel 17:47). Then we will break from error and yield to Truth.”

  3. Many years ago I attended a Christian Science nurses meeting on, observing, reporting, and charting.
I went to the dictionary and discovered if you break up the word observe to ob and serve. it becomes very interesting. The prefix ob means “in the way of” and of course. “serve” means “to hold in view”, “behold”, “to reform duties for” . it became obvious to me that to observe means “in the way of serving”
and I reasoned, was my observation “in the way” of serving God or ‘getting in the way” of serving Him. That has been very helpful through all the years. I thought I’d just share it with you all.

    1. That is very helpful, Joye. May all that I observe today serve God perfectly, steadfastly, and joyfully. Thank you for sharing.

    2. I saw similarly in the word observe, but also an expansion into OBey and SERVE, as in, not the picture which the mortal eyes see, but the Truth of being which God is and knows: Divine Substance/understanding.

    3. Thank you very much indeed, dear Joye. As a German, but very interested in the English language, I have to study your definitions more thoroughly. That is all very interesting, what you wrote! Decades ago I worked as a CS nurse, and I will study all what you say here, tks again!

      1. Thank you Evan, to let us ponder your today’s SV thought. In the Bible and Science and Health we find and can observe the truth from God’s point of view. Am very grateful we are able to see and observe deeper the truth through praying and through God’s great Love!

    4. Dear Joye, at the same moment your post arrived, we were struggling here, just to locate an object, also to reminisce about past experiences. IMMEDIATELY the definitions which you shared caught my attention to think more about the meanings of those very words. Thank you for sharing your experience from that nurses meeting. The “Ob and “serve” meaning interested me most. Thank you for sharing your experience from that meeting. . . it’s helped me be in this moment.

  4. Jesus said, “Do not fear, for I am with you”. God is always with us, also and sees
us as Perfect from Divine Love’s perspective..
I am reminded by the “Footprints” message about the person walking along the
beach, remembering certain memories of their life and there being two sets of
foot prints along the way… But during the seemingly more troublesome parts
of their life, they noticed there was only one set of footprints. But it was then,
during the more challenging parts, that the love of the Lord was carrying them
through the tough times that seemed to be.
God’s Love is with us all of the time and ever present in goodness and power,
gentleness and caring. Sometimes it Seems that we are going through hardships
and Love is not there, but divine Love is Always with us, guiding and guarding us
along the way of Truth and understanding.

      1. Thank you, dear Rose, for including the Footprints in the Sand link. I love what
you had written that “It’s a touching reminder that we are never separated from
God, never alone”. It is lovely you added that. And thank you to all for the great
inspiration and articles today. What God/Truth/Spirit sees is truly beautiful!

  5. The quote is, “You see but you do not observe.” Some definitions of Observe are: To Perceive, To Discover, To Behold. Again I thought of the Spiritual Reality Goggles, which I mentioned yesterday in recalling a video posted by J a while back. God gives us the ability to perceive and discover everything as He made it and maintains it. The “it” is us His children, and His manifested universe. Chilesands said here yesterday, very fittingly- “God is present everywhere, at every instant.” So what else is there to observe?

  6. the innocence of the child, the spy master detecting evil …
Aha1 Scoundrel!.. the mask comes off, breaks the shackle.
Gods Law of Adjustment, Thank Good-ness for Mrs. Hudson.
There is a book studying the women in the Christ story, ..around Jesus…
tending to Home, an infinite path, is humbl-ing, rejuvenating, an act of thankfulness
in motion, a good shepard, tending with Infinite Love..thank you Barbara and Evan
    and Holmes

  7. “You can not see faith, but you can see the footprints of the faithful. We must
leave behind “faithful footprints” for others to follow.” – Dennis Anderson
All of the good we do benefits others whether we are with them or not. For as
God sees us, and everyone, we are all children, getting along, learning, and we
must observe all of the wonders around us that God has created for us to enjoy.
This is done spiritually, through the lens of Perfection – God’s Perfection.
As I recall, years ago, there was a tv show called Columbo, a detective, who
would always ad, “Oh, One more thing…” That was usually the thing that
everyone missed in their observations, until he pointed it out and then the
mystery was solved. I think our goal is to Start with the One Mind, the One in All,
and we will be on the right track to solving the challenges that seem to confront us.
    that
