  1. I like this! I realize being the first to act is 2 know immediately God is in control of His kingdom. There is no other power nor presence in this most sacred place of the most High.

  2. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and all these things shall be added unto you.”
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
“Be still and know that I am God.”

  3. There’s a lot of doing in knowing God’s on the case. That the ‘something’ that must be done” is something that God’s already done,
There’s a lot of doing in “enable us to know, as in heaven, so on earth, God is omnipotent, supreme.”

There’s a lot of doing in listening, with the whole yearning heart, and then following where Love leads, filled with faith and hope in God’s all-power, all-presence, wisdom and love..

    1. Please check me on this but “I must do something” creates the problems. To believe in problems is to be unconscious to Divine Presence; a violation of God’s perfect law. Isn’t this what Mary Baker Eddy called a belief in matter? Unconscious to Truth and not under the protection of the very God we think we are worshiping. Help 🙂

      1. Thank you Kenny, this is certainly my understanding of things. Mrs Eddy refers to this belief in an Opposing power in S&H 92:21 “Uncover error, and it turns the lie upon you. Until the fact concerning error — namely, its nothingness — appears, the moral demand will not be met, and the ability to make nothing of error will be wanting. We should blush to call that real which is only a mistake. The foundation of evil is laid on a belief in something besides God. This belief tends to support two opposite powers, instead of urging the claims of Truth alone. The mistake of thinking that error can be real, when it is merely the absence of truth, leads to belief in the superiority of error. “

  4. Thanks Evan. Something is better than nothing. Some times I don’t see through the whole solution to a problem, but that doesn’t keep me from at least doing something.

    1. Acting is something that should come naturally. God is in my Soul. Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Principle, And Spirit.
These are the synonyms for God and we reflect them in quality not quantity!

God is all in all! Everywhere!

      1. Dear Catherine, excuse but as I learned in Christiane Science, God IS my Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love, Mind and Spirit.
God is not IN my Soul etc. That would mean we are Soul etc., that cannot be as we REFLECT God who is Soul etc. (All 7 synonyms). What a comfort, that it is so!
By the way, today I do not quite understand the meaning of SpiritView. But when I study all your comments, think will then understand it. Thank you all for your comments!
And thank Evan to make me ponder this verse.

  5. A little PostScript here: many years ago I heard a testimony at church where the woman said every time she prayed for her family, her community, her country, and the world, she knew that these powerful truths went out into the world and blessed many. Perhaps in Norway, or Russia, etc etc. She didn’t need to know who but that they were blessing many. I enjoy knowing that too!

  6. Yes Diane that is quite right. And why, because God fills a l l space and is with every creature, because He created us all to His, Love`s image and likeness. And if we all pray for the whole world, it will always have a healing affect. And it is right that that will have a healing effect, and we must not know at all where and at whom this healing effect will appear.
Thank you for that testimony, Diane!

  7. Remember the “do something” ALWAYS starts with prayer! Sometimes it ends there too, depending on where God guides us – but to pray is definitely to “do something.”

  8. All wonderful comments realized me that God is always with me and us. Thank you everyone.
