Bear fruit with right thoughts

November 30, 2021 | 12 comments

“When a man is right, his thoughts are right, active, and they are fruitful….”

~ Mary Baker Eddy, Message for 1900, p. 3

Right thoughts are spiritual thoughts coming from divine Mind. They are spiritual truths that lead us aright and steer us away from fear, false belief, and limited material views that would deny success.

Let spiritual truth guide your thought today and bring about good consequences.

Think right, be right, and act right. Your efforts will bear fruit!

  1. This reminded me of the verses from the Bible:
    Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
Looking forward to thought bearing fruit today! Thank you Evan.

  2. Expanding on what I sent yesterday.
This morning I thought, SpiritView is our
    stable for birthing/expanding the Christ
    in thought.
    Thanks, Evan, and all SpiritView
    contributors.

  3. Jesus preached the following,

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
    (John 15:1–9)

That means to me that we must to watch our thoughts carefully and make sure they are spiritual and are attached to the the true vine, Christ. The Christ will prune away all the branches of false
suggestions that would try to dominate our thoughts if we let him, and if we stay attached to
the true vine, with our roots planted firmly in Truth and Love. Then as we let Christ
feed us and prune out the undesirable suggestions from us, we will flourish on the
vine, and bear much spiritual fruit for ourselves and to share with others. That sounds good to me.

    1. Wonderful…that sounds good to me too, Maggie and thank you everybody and Evan. I am always blessed by visiting with you every morning. You are all so precious.

    1. J thank you for the article, very powerful in its simplicity and clarity.

And Evan that is a great picture of the bountiful variety of fruits that God has put on the earth for our nourishment and enjoyment. Similarly He gives us right thoughts to nourish our spirit and bring joy. It is our divine Right to partake of all the Right thoughts in the One divine Mind. Thank you everyone.

    2. Yes, thank you so much for the link to this article. It is perfect timing for me and it includes a line from this week’s Bible Lesson. “The recuperative action of the system, when mentally sustained by Truth, goes on naturally.” (SH 447:14-16)

  4. What a winner this message is for wiping out discouragement. It has hung around me like a fog . Thank you!!! The picture too is a marvelous visual for improving one’s outlook.

  5. Think right, be right and.act right and
    your efforts will bear fruits.
Wonderful dear Evan! Thank you very very much for this loving awakening to express God! For me it was an uplift and after listening to the audio lesson sermon I made a call to a church friend instead only writing on whatsapp. My aim was to make her happy when we talk a bit. After that talk I felt good and I knew that it did good to her, too. And in the evening I joined a teleconference meeting with representatives from CS churches from Switzerland, Austria and Germany about working together in giving online lectures. It was a lively and fruitful meeting, and I am grateful for this and for a good God’s day although I had a challenge in the evening. The Bible verse came to my mind “fear though not for I (God) am with you, depart not for I am your God; I strengthen you; I even help you, I hold you by the right hand of my rightiousness”. Oh I knew of God’s loving care♡
God is everpresent and comforting us. Thank you God! And thank you Evan for your daily awakening us to truth ideas which go with us through the day. And am always thankful for all the interesting and inspired comments here ♡
