Blessed with Sufficiency

Do you see yourself struggling with deficiency or blessed with sufficiency?

Hopefully blessed with sufficiency, for God has graced you with a divine birthright that is filled with love, wisdom and goodness for you to claim, express and live for all time to come.

To the human mind, sufficiency does not always seem to be the case. Lack, not enough, coming up short, and suffering imply deficiency and God not anywhere to be seen.

But God is always present, in Spirit. Not in matter, but in Spirit. And when we look in Spirit to find God’s presence, the divine grace and overflowing goodness that is rightfully ours to feel and enjoy is there to be found.

Cultivate the habit of looking to Spirit for answers, comfort and peace. You’ll find it there. Any sense of deficiency that came from looking to matter for comfort or abundance will disappear. And where you thought you saw lack, you’ll find supply, sufficiency instead of deficiency.

“God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done” The Message, 2 Cor. 9:8.

  1. Perfect!!! Thank you for this great start to the day. I think sometimes, we tend to make it more
complicated than it needs to be, and you have expressed the beauty and simplicity of turning to God.

  2. I like, Evan, what you said that if one rely’s on matter sufficiency is always less but in Spirit, it’s overflowing

  3. I am currently thinking of church as the complete idea of Mind – fully supplied and completely expressed in the way of God’s choosing – as a saving and healing presence in my community. That is also a good example of sufficiency.
Thanks Evan for your timely messages!

  4. Abundance has always been something I have needed to work on. The idea of lack is very much stuck in consciousness. However, Divine Love has always met every need. I have lived long enough to see that.

  5. We’ve severely downsized at work, people were let go and we sold some major equipment that previously made doing things easy. And for the last few months all I’ve dwelt on day-in, day-out pretty much is how ‘insufficient’ the situation is people and equipment wise.So this post reminds me that I should lean more on God to understand how we’ve got enough to get through this rough patch.
