“…be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out.

  1. I love this instruction!!! It never ceases to amaze me how the Bible has the answers to whatever situation we may be facing. Thanks so much, Evan, for sharing this.

  2. The other day C/S came to my rescue. Trust me on this, if I had no idea of C/S I would have lost my relationship to the best human being that came to me to take care of me after my wife Joan died in 1997. The arguement was based on teasing and was quite stupid. I who studied C/S should have been aware of mortal minds entrapment, but instead fell for the human material side of it and suffered for a whole day because of it. Doing your study of the C/S Bible Lesson each morning really protects when you’re not even thinking of it. It sounds hard to do but really it’s not when armed with that protection.

  3. THANKS TOBIAS, I try and read my lesson every morning or during the day and find that seems to prepare me for the many challenges that presents thoughts and actions that arise daily.

  4. I think Mary Baker Eddy refers to the Bible as “the chart of life”. Useful for every human situation. Many folks these days don’t know this, and try to make up their own “chart of life” usually something based on psychological theories. And they often get pretty tripped up doing it. Human wisdom just isn’t up to all the challenges of human life. I prefer the divine wisdom found in the Bible, and well-tested through many generations..

  5. Thank you so much again and again Evan for your thoughts of good. It is a prayer for the world I say because even before I read this blog I already had benefited from it two days ago. It was a suggestion of bursting out an ill feeling towards someone but because of studying our Bible Lessons daily and for asking God to help me understandingly declare His ever presence and that His law is already governing me and all, I was willing to turn down the bad suggestion of reacting. Every Scientific prayer has a healing effect for all mankind.
Also thank you all SpiritView fans for sharing your views of health.

  6. When a loved one tries your patience too much, its so easy to snap at him/her but very difficult indeed to hold on to peace and love. At that time the good things in that person does not come to thought. One has to be very vigilant all the time to behold the perfect man of God’s creating, and holy thoughts are an impervious armour, which will protect you
from snapping or losing your cool when you are tempted to do so. Yes it must be our endeavour to look for the best and bring out the best in each other.
    Thanks so much Evan.
