  1. I am often engaged in debate in my own (blended) family about how mainstream Christianity is unyielding and somehow always has to be right.

I have often said, and always believed that Truth is where where you find it, and that it only made sense that ALL children of God, if they listen, will hear and know the Truth as they need it, and where they stand, whether they are Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, Gandhi, Pope Francis, or in this case, Buddha.

    1. Truth reveals itself uniquely to each individual — I couldn’t agree with you more, Religious affiliations should not divide our unity. Staying teachable opens the doors to our Oneness. “Truth should emanate from the pulpit, but not be strangled there. A special privilege is vested in the ministry. How shall it be used? Sacredly, in the interests of humanity, not of sect.” MBE pg 236 S&H

    2. You make a good point, that no one should be self-righteous about their beliefs and positions. We all have much to learn from each other. For a Christian, Jesus Christ has a unique role to play and message to share with humanity, but he did not have a monopoly on Christ. Evidence of the Christ, Truth, he taught shows up in countless other thinkers throughout the ages, before and after Jesus. Thanks for sharing.

  2. A scientific or mathematical relationship between the words “as” and ” so” (implied). Mary Baker Eddy, also, often used these two – 2-letter words to demonstrate the Christian Science of her spiritual interpretation of Scripture, especially of Christ Jesus’ teachings, that is, the relationship between the human and the spiritual concepts.

Thank you, Evan, for this “bright” thought for us to ponder its infinity.

  3. Yep, there is one God with many expressions of Love. As this weeks lessons so clearly brings out Man is idea. If that idea expresses truth and love it reflects what created it wherever it may be found.

  4. Thanks, Evan and Commenters! Some good thoughts and ideas! I have been a spiritual seeker and a searcher most of my Life and have now come to rest in Christian Science. It’s taken me a long time to realize that the Bible is the Source of Christian Science and that Jesus is the Truth-Bearer to mankind. Also, that Christian Science is the Promised Comforter that was promised by Jesus in the Bible. It all fits together so perfectly!! Truly we are here to learn Who We Really Are and How to Heal Ourselves and Others so that we may realize our spiritual nature and our oneness with God!

  5. God is what lights up our life. We must tune in to receive its fullness . This little light of mine , I’m going to let it shine says a favorite song. Let it shine! Let it shine! Let it shine!
