Here’s a cute short video illustrating how the world is made a better place for everyone by simple acts of kindness.

“Color your world with kindness”

How much color are you bringing to the world today?

  1. I just love this. Even a small act of kindness can brighten someone’s day. It’s ‘Love thy neighbor’ in action.

  2. I love this little vid..it reminds me of a friend’s situation. I’ve known this man for 45 years and all he has ever wanted was A LOT of money. He always talked about it and spent a fortune on lottery tickets but ended up always short of money. Now, where he is well over 60, having serious depression problems and has alienated all his previous friends because of a “difficult personality”. Finally, his mother left him more money than he has ever had..and he is giving it away left right and centre and so loving doing that! He recently said to me, “I always thought if I was rich, I’d be happy, but I have finally realised that the ONLY thing that matters is your family, your friends and what I can do for someone who has less than I do” …and this guy has almost nothing because his flat burnt down and he lost everything except his phone! MBE wrote, “Giving does not impoverish us in the service of our Maker, neither does withholding enrich us.”
    (SH 79:31–32)
He also said to me ” I’ve had more joy by giving this money away that keeping it for myself”!!! What a hard lesson!

  3. It is so sweet, thank you Evan!
As man ìs the image of Love, as Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health, actually kindness and love is built in us , and we cannot but love and help our neighbor and so brighten also their day, specially those in need!

    1. Now it is evening in Germany. And i can add something nice I experienced today while I was shopping. People I met in the stores colored my world with kindness, helping me, and my coloring the world of my neighbors was, giving thankful, joyful bright smiles to them. Am grateful for it and for the lovely SpiritView of today! 🙂

  4. Thank you, Evan, for this great illustrated reminder.

I believe Aesop is credited with saying “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”.

We must endeavor to “hold the fort” against today’s onslaught of ego

  5. Thank you for this, Evan. What I love especially about the video is that each person that received kindness went on to give kindness to someone else. Not paying back, but forward. (I am not sure it is possible to say this, but hope you understand what I mean 🙂 )

  6. Thank you so much Evan for these cute videos! I share them in Sunday school the kids love them.
Greetings from a beautiful day in Georgia!

  7. And guess what I am doing THIS morning!?
Getting on a plane to fly away from the town where Evan lives (and I used to, but have been visiting friends)! I love the way things “unfold.” Thank you, Evan (and greetings to you!). Signed: Judith, age 80

  8. I like the video Evan. Thank you for sharing it! 🙂
A couple of months ago, I was walking at a popular place along the river near where I live. A couple of joggers found some keys near the trailhead and asked me if they were mine. They were not but since I was just starting to walk, I thought I could ask others and the joggers placed the keys at the start of the trailhead where people would see them. As I walked, I was taken in by the beautiful scenery, the sun, the smell of beeswax and forgot all about the keys. I passed people, smiled and said “hi”. They also responded back. Towards the end of the walk, I saw a women with a stroller. I smiled and said “hi” but she did not respond or smile. A voice said, “ask her if she lost her keys” and I did and she turned around and said “Yes!” as if she couldn’t believe I had asked her that. I explained where the keys were and she rushed off. As I continued to walk, I came across a man with a small child. Again, the voice asked me to ask him about the keys and I did. And, this was the women’s husband and son. When I walked back, I came upon them again and the women was all smiles as she held up her keys. She said “God is good…but…I was worried.” I responded back “God is good.” It turns out they were from out of town and the keys were to their rental car. It is wonderful to witness how all things work together for good that love God in action.

      1. Thank you Brian. I agree. 🙂 I believe God is speaking to everyone but not everyone is listening all the time and sometimes people are completely unaware of it. If they only knew – what a different world it would be…

  9. Thank you Evan! Very sweet with such a powerful message. Loved reading the stories told today. What a great fulfilling purpose we have. Makes me think about times when a small act of kindness not only helps the other person but causes me such joy that any issue I may be dealing with melts away. It’s Love in action. With much gratitude to you Evan!

  10. What a joy to see this picture of the earth. I have recently put up
a picture similar in our front room. I strive to see each country
as filled up full with God’s Love. As the Lord’s prayer goes, Our Father
which art in heaven, and our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy’s, inspiration of this prayer, Our Father, Mother God all harmonious, found in the Christian Science text, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, on page 16. Going through the whole prayer, gives me a better understanding of who’s in charge, and can rest in this. With the different colors, the idea, which just came to me, thinking of how better to understand God, found on page 465 of this book, and our relationship to Him, brings much peace, knowing that God fills every space.

  11. Brought Sentinels to two ladies today. One was received with kind acceptance and gratitude.
We had a good conversation. She was receptive and so blessed me as we shared.

Another lady was visited very briefly in her office. I startled her when I walked through her door. She said “If that is what I think it is I don’t want it. Stubbornly refusing it and my presence.
I told her I was only trying to love her. She ignored me and I went away. Her need is greater than the previous lady.
My job is to see her differently. God’s child isn’t stubborn or sick.
Coloring the world is a great theme. Kindness isn’t always firsthand appreciated, even hated. But the seed grows when it finds the correct soil.
Kindness gives much more to the giver. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Kindness is the answer to make my day a glad colorful event.
These recently uncovered] articles will be shared with children. “Boys and girls shall play in the streets”.

  12. II Cor 8:14 – “But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:” This whol Chapter is wonderful – II Corinthians Chapter 8 – Thank you dear Evan for stirring our minds to the correct Mind.
