  1. What a nice little reminder document / Quick Reference card of how God helps us, and has
practical answers for all our woes. I copied the web page, for future reference.(Like other past articles
I find here, that I will want to read again-have quick access to-I save_as web_page complete or as html_only via my chrome browser). These go into a folder on my computer “Spirit_View_Favourites”.
Hope this is ok Evan ?

  2. Thanks Evan for this lovely post. God has an answer to all our problems, yet we struggle humanly instead of approaching Him directly.

God’s help is always at hand. We only need to take the right step, the simple step of understanding His all power, all presence and His all loving nature. He is eagerly waiting for us to go to Him. But many a times we go to Him as a last resort. Isn’t it very sad?
God is the source of all good. When we have the source, why go elsewhere? “Trust in God whose sure supply will meet all your needs abundantly.”

  3. How relevant to my daily prayer is this message “listen to God”.

Three things Sunday morning after reading the daily lesson sermon from the full text version of the Quarterly arouse in my prayer. First I decided to hear God, I might ask him a question.
I knew by reading many testimonies of Christian Science healing that he would answer in my consciousness.

The first question was “when will I experience the physical transformation of an accident having caused disfigurement of my foot?
The answer came immediately. “When the sense dream vanishes”.

The second question was asked “How do I effect a healing of discordant association with my nephew? My nephew is a reverend at a Baptist church. I gave him and his wife many Christian Science publications and Mrs. Eddy’s poems which are so very dear to me. And a copy of Science and Health, reader’s edition which my father used for many years of service. It wasn’t well received. Communications have been ignored.
The answer came immediately. Voicing of the Lord’s prayer and then the Scientific Statement of Being and the correlative passage from 1st John. I must leave him in God’s loving care.

Finally I asked what is that word Mrs. Eddy studied for three years before using it in Science and Health? Is it at all possible the significance of one word could change the efficacy of and import of so wonderful a work?
The word “chastity” came as an answer. I have no other way to authenticate it. Perhaps it is only relates to my need for growth spirit-ward.

I have just received a concordance to Science and Health. In there the passage was looked up, “sense dream”. It appears on page 312;6 in Science and Health.
Then this morning I picked up a the Special Edition of the Journal. In this “81 Journal is the account of a healing of an extremely “crushing” accident which started with a very large tractor lurching forward over a worker’s foot and then he was completely rolled over by 6 foot high tractor tires. Taken to the hospital he was expected to expire due to this crushing accident. They didn’t administer any medications as he was thought terminal. After his wife and a Christian Science practitioner were enlisted and advised his healing became front page news. After a complete recovery he returned to his laboring as a landscape and construction worker. It started with his “foot”. Having stood on the Scientific principal of healing in his life as a Christian Scientist. A very small comment on a long testimony. How insignificant is my problem.

Thank you for the title this morning “listen to God and the head phones on the Bible. It’s a wonderful way to start this day! Unfolding blessings for today.

    1. This is great to read David. I also often “hear” messages from God when I ask a question. When the answer comes AS I AM ASKING the question, I know it is from infinite Truth, God. If I find myself wondering and consciously thinking for an answer, then I know its probably my wishful thinking.
Thank you, Evan, for such a great “shorthand” reminder of all the ways God helps us and is present in our lives.

    1. I too would like to know if I, Librarian, could use this or part of it in our RR window? The idea does come that I could rephrase some of the questions, so it would not be an exact copy. The Bible, of course, is open to all!

  4. I love this so much! How many times, God has answered my questions through His Word in the Bible. Thank you so much, Evan. I am so grateful for this!

  5. Thank you very much Evan for this, I really appreciate all of the spiritual ideas on here. Thank you for all who share their ideas on here as well. I am truly grateful today !!!

  6. Brilliant!

This prompted me to claim the liberty of clarifying for myself that “you say” is”my outer being thinks”, and “God says” is “my inner Being knows” so that I adjust my thinking into alignment with All is Good. Today I commit to using that complete set of spiritual Power Tools I inherited – faith, love, strength, understanding, wisdom, ability, imagination, will, process of divine order, enthusiasm, and power to eliminate error (denial or elimination) and life!

I still can laugh whenever I pick up a flashlight!!

  7. Thank you Evan for listening to God and His Word, the Bible, and sharing with us everyday the reality
of Spirit. I was coming to Spiritward later today because this week’s lesson took much longer than
usual to study this morning. Such a long Bible List of true Reality! Thank you again.

  8. Thank you Evan. Always good to get back to basics! Brings to mind the song by Lauren Daigle “You say”. 🙂

On that note (pardon the pun…lol) Romans9:31 If-32.

    1. Michaela, thank you so very much for the link to that great testimony. It is so comforting and helpful! Tears came while I read this wonderful testimony. Am very grateful for it.

  9. Thank you very much Evan, for this great lesson about God’s unconditional, eternal Love to us all, His creation!
I was overjoyed with a bit tears after I read this SpiritView showing us God’s great Love and care for us and His closeness to us. Evan it is so very comforting and healing, am grateful and happy about it! 🙂
