Do you quack or soar?

February 5, 2010 | 3 comments

The following story is widely circulated on the web, and it’s a good one to be reminded of in these times of high unemployment and people striving to hold on to their job.

It emphasizes the merits of offering top-notch service and the rewards that come for giving above and beyond.

Here’s a link:

Ducks quack, eagles soar

Are you soaring or quacking today?

  1. This is a GREAT STORY ABOUT ATTITUDE!

Christian Science teaches that our true job, our role, our career, our purpose and meaning in life, is to express God. This cabbie sure figured that out, though he may never use the word! Hardly matters. His life is a Sermon.

Thanks. I’m going to try to soar more!

    :<))

  2. Love it! Especially the part about the other drivers explaining why they couldn’t do it like Wally. That’s just me at so many occasions. Very very good reminder that we are not subject to circumstances but that we are responsible for them. Thanks, Nicole
