Don’t give up

February 15, 2013 | 6 comments

Have you ever felt like the proverbial “basket-case,” where everything goes wrong, plans don’t work out, and the future looks dim?
Take heart. It’s not as hopeless as it looks. There are progressive possibilities coming right around the corner.
Moses was a “basket-case” at an early stage in his life. His future looked very dim when left in a basket to sit amongst the reeds near a riverbank. Sanctioned murderers were on the prowl to end his life if they found him.
But they didn’t. Love had a better plan.
God is watching out for you too. No matter how desperate immediate circumstances appear, Love has a better place for you to be and is leading you to it. Tireless patience, a growing faith, and fervent striving to see and follow God’s plan will get you there.
There is no bad situation you can enter where God is not already there, able to lift you up and carry you back out.

  1. Thank you so much! These inspiring words fit perfectly in what I’m going through.

“There is no bad situation you can enter where God is not already there, able to lift you up and carry you back out.”

That’s what I’ve been continually praying and it gives me peace when my mortal mind tries to get desperate.

  2. There is a present situation with my I-PAD and the Web Sites where one day, every now and then, I couldn’t get, even thou I was able to percure it in the past. Finally the answers came to turn off the I-PAD for awhile, and low and behold, every thing was back to normal. (INCIDENTLY, THIS MAY HELP THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO HOW THE I-PAD WORKS.)

  3. Dear Evan,
Your daily blogs are always just the right thought for the day for me! I cannot count the number of times I have been a total basket case, not knowing what to do next, and finding your newest blog to be just what I needed, to give me the courage to keep going. Thank you again and again for those God-provided messages. Today and every day. SAS

  4. Evan,
Thank you for today’s blog. While I’m not a “basket-case,” I did find comfort in the fact that “God is watching out” for me and His plan will get me there.
