Don’t let disease sneak in

What’s your tolerance policy for believing in disease?
Do you believe disease is possible for you 10%, 50% or 90% of the time?
Or 0%?
Hopefully, ZERO PERCENT!! That’s the one safe option to choose.
Experience follows thought. There is always something that happens in thought, whether conscious or unconscious, before it can happen to the body. So, it’s paramount that we keep our mind free of all disease belief.
Adopt a Zero Tolerance Policy for disease beliefs!
Disease is not a master of mind. Mind is the master of disease.

Mary Baker Eddy, a metaphysician who learned how to heal the body of disease through Mind, wrote, “A material body only expresses a material and mortal mind. A mortal man possesses this body, and he makes it harmonious or discordant according to the images of thought impressed upon it. You embrace your body in your thought, and you should delineate upon it thoughts of health, not of sickness. You should banish all thoughts of disease and sin and of other beliefs included in matter” (Science and Health, p. 208).

So, if any suggestion of disease as possible comes knocking at the door of your consciousness, don’t let it in. Keep it out. Banish it to oblivion. You have spiritual dominion to think and stay healthy.
Eddy also wrote, “Banish the belief that you can possibly entertain a single intruding pain which cannot be ruled out by the might of Mind, and in this way you can prevent the development of pain in the body” (Science and Health, p. 391).
Maintain a Zero Tolerance Policy for disease, and stay well!

  1. 2 diseases I have successfully ruled out of my experience, and that is CANCER and THE FLU. This is how I think about it when heard over the media. CANCER–Years ago, I looked up Cancer in the dictionary. One of the meanings was (A spread of evil.) How can evil spread when God, Good fills all space? I used that thought. In handling the suggestion of FLU. I visualized a flying object flying in and then flying out or (IT FLU IN TO FLY OUT, never touching me or any one else. Simple, isn’t it?

  2. Thanks Evan!! Zero it is!! Such a good reminder and i love the ZERO Graphic, it keeps the picture in thought! And Tobias, as always, your comments are so helpful. Thnaks for being there my friend. I don’t respond as much as i should but I appreciate your comments and love Evans thoughts… ALWAYS!!!

  3. Excellent – It is so easy for the little fox to get a foot in the door (or sometimes just a toe) if we are not 100% alert, correcting immediately every subtle picture or suggestion that doesn’t come from God. THank you so much.
