With the growing number of government mandates, business regulations, and state rules for how to work and move about in a society fearful of a virus, many are concerned about losing rights. I address this concern and how to demonstrate over it in an article just published online by the Christian Science Sentinel, “Exercising our right to think spiritually.”

My extended family were meeting up recently for a weekend celebration which had been postponed for eighteen months due to the pandemic. The day before we were due to go, when all the preparations were almost complete one family member emailed everyone to suggest we all tested to be sure that everyone would be safe! She had been talking to a neighbour and was suddenly very fearful.
I know that these tests are not 100% accurate and can throw up a false positive so taking a test is not the answer. The answer is knowing that God’s man., (as we all are), is perfect as stated in Genesis 1 and any material evidence to the contrary is untrue. I prayed to know that Love would cast out fear as it says in the Bible and we all went ahead with our weekend celebration.
It was a most harmonious occasion and much hugging went on as we welcomed the two new babies into the family and my daughter and her family, who have returned to the U.K. after 9 1/2 years of living abroad. Blessings abounded and continue to abound!
Thanks Dilys for great testimony to prayer over fear. Thank you Evan for continuing to give us hope, inspiration and ideas for how to work spiritually. In Australia I have been uplifted to see petitions for freedom from coercion into medical treatment, and people working towards no discrimination for people who do not get vaccinated. These haven’t come to fruition yet, but to me are mini-demonstrations that prayer about our inalienable rights and self government is not going unheard. That good will outweigh evil, because good is all that is real and lasting . Nothing and No thing can prevent us from feeling the love of God – As your testimony shows Dilys, but we do have to hold to the Truth, and keep holding. Thanks Evan.
The atmosphere feels to me like a healing of fear in progress as there is no fear in Divine Love.
The nothingness of error will always yield to the Divine Light of Truth and always fades away. So, let’s work hard to stay with Truth, its already having an effect on the multitudes, let’s see it together.
God, Divine Love itself will always win over the darkness.

We have the divine right to be fearless in the face of evil, knowing that which makes us fearful is without power to permanently impact our soulful lives. This is due to evil’s own temporal nature. Man who is ignorant of the eternal nature of divine truth will suffer from his own making, be he king or pauper. The only true existence is that which is eternal, divine, selfless, compassionate.
