Face evil fearlessly

If some type of evil appears to be taking form before you today, face it fearlessly!

Mary Baker Eddy writes, “Evil is not something to fear and flee before, or that becomes more real when it is grappled with” (Misc. Writings, p. 284).

Evil is never the power it claims to be.  It is an empty threat.  But it needs to be seen as an empty threat.  It needs to be faced fearlessly and proven harmless.

And this happens by knowing the omnipotence and omnipresence of God.

In a consciousness of God’s omnipotence, evil’s claim to power loses power.  It fades and withers away.  God’s reality takes front and center.  Healing happens.

Have no fear of evil.  Love God instead and prove evil harmless.

  1. As I work every day with “Ways that Are Vain” by MBE, page 210 of Miscellany , I apply it to
myself by changing it to,, for instance, –
“Animal magnetism- in its ascending steps of evil CANNOT entice me as its victim…._ and when it
gets to the bit about it completing the sum total of sin, I have made two definitions for myself of Evil and sin:-

    EVIL
    E very Vile Insidious Lie
    Sin
    S illy Insignificant Nothingness

This helps me to stick with the spiritual
qualities of Truth and Love and understand
them better, and helps me to keep my mind
filled with them all day. This is my protection from
    evil suggestions

    1. That’s awesome Maggie! Thanks so much, I love The article Ways that are Vain, it really makes you think, along with everything else Mrs Eddy says.
Maggie’s a perfect name! My Great granddaughter is Maggie Mae

      1. By reflection of Spirit’s power, the pretender
evil situation cannot enter the forteresse of our mighty castle, because God and His/Her spiritual angels surround me and all , 24/7.
Thank you Evan and all seekers of Truth , “today is being of blessings’”
