“If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

~ Jesus Christ, Matthew 17:20, NRSV

  1. I heard a very fine priest use this quote, and he said,”Well I have faith, but I cannot move a mountain.” My understanding of this Biblical quote is that one’s problem, whether a disease, finances etc., is the mountain, and it can be moved through the understanding that CS offers.

  2. I was pondering this Bible verse not long ago. It occurred to me that a mountain is matter. Even symbolically, a mountain is an obstruction. Matter, obstruction, is nothing. No matter how big it appears to be – matter is no-thing, NOTHING! So of course faith can move mountains! Faith leads to understanding. Understanding removes obstacles.
